Show Your LCD(s) setups!!!

plenty of people do it, go easy on him. remember text doesnt convey meaning as well as spoken word, when you bold everything it seems mean

As far as the spaghetti you see, that will get fixed up. Right now I just wanted to post up the set up. It's the Sammy T260. I'm in the process of cleaning up so everything will be dealt with soon.

The monitor is much nicer in person. The image is great. I just have to sit down and mess with the settings. If anyone has any settings available, let me know. I'm sure I can squeeze more out of this puppy.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!! And if you don't celebrate Christmas then Happy Holidays! ;)

Like the cathodes btw :D

yea it looks sick for me. Highlights my entire wall pretty much, looks like something out of an alien space craft lol.

cheap (like 12 bucks for 4 cathodes)

if anyone is wondering how to setup to a monitor, i used a 16V ac adaptor to molex connector i got on amazon. Works great, the molex attatchment is the same as off my power supply.

I like the look of colored lights but my room is too boring/simplistic for anything other than white lighting D;

Here is a small update. My 24" became part of a Christmas present to my Sister and Bro-in-law, so I replaced it with another 30". I present "The Twins":

I apologize for the Crappy pictures. Once I get a decent flash I'll take some proper shots. A couple bonus pics:

It sounds as if LCD prices are going to fall again late January / early Febuary. I hope to secure the third 30" if that happens and replace the Z-5500's with a decent receiver and a Acculine system. I'll update pics then.

^ dual 30's - nice work! with the price drop on the gateways, it's not so far-fetched to think of getting another

I'll post more pics later...I had already taken a bunch of shots, but I didn't realize how dusty everything looked until a flashbulb went off on it. Need to do a bit of cleaning :p

God I hate cathodes. I used to use them all the time until they died and nearly took my pc (smelled smoke, noticed it was setting off smoke, had to rip it out, thankfully didn't murder my pc)

What are the neon (fans?) things suppose to say? Very nice btw.

Thank you!

The fans say: "Frraksurred" (Red) and "Thank you Jesus!" (Blue). Not to get "religious" on anyone, but I have to give credit where credit is due. :)

IMO you should invest a larger desk or remove the shelving on your desk.

I completely agree. The hutch is either coming off, of I'll have to get a different desk. I've looked extensively, but have not found anything I really like. The top of this comes off easy enough. I'll probably just remove it and hang some media storare on the wall.

i could not resist the urge to post this, but you guys have the cleanest and most organized rooms and work spaces I have ever seen. sometime I have trouble finding my mouse under all my papers and cards.

Frraksurred,
what's your desk? Looks pretty well-made and sturdy, especially in the bottom shot, and would actually go well with the other furniture in my room. Do you have any complaints / annoyances about it?

My only annoyance is with the keyboard tray and the round edge above it, some times it limits my room when gaming. Apart from that I love it. I believe it is a O'Sullivan (cheap furniture), unfortunately I bought it at Staples about 9 years ago, so I don't know if they can still be found. I bought about three yards of black cloth and hung it from the back (using a furring strip) to block out any light bleed and help mask cabling. Beyound that it has been through 2 moves and is still holding together.

Thanks man! I'll try to find it at a store to get a closer look.

How do you like that BenQ klebenhern? My friend is thinking of getting the 24" version of that monitor.

so many tiny mouse pads... mines like 15 inches by 12 inches, and I wouldn't have it any smaller

If I can't move across my monitors with less then a few inches of movement my sensitivity is too low =P

Sorry to go a little off topic but what kind of graphics card does that ASUS laptop have?

for this model it has 8600M GT 256MB.. and also provide one HDMI port.

i'm still waiting for my HDMI cable. now i'm connecting through D-Sub cable..
