Scorn- New Gameplay & Release Date Trailer
October 21st 2022...
They announced the release date in December, but at least the content in the trailer is new.
As an absurd artist myself, I love the HR Giger inspired world brought to life in 3D. I'm really hoping this is at least enjoyable on a first-playthrough. I would hate for this game to suck, with all the love and care put into the artwork.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but it comes out a month from today. Can't wait to try this tonight!
It's also launching day 1 on PC Game Pass, if you are already subscribed.Sorry to burst your bubble, but it comes out a month from today.
That said, $40 for a brand new game seems like a good deal to me, I might actually pre-order.
The Prologue should be out today. Yep- kickstarter people should have a code for it in their email.Sorry to burst your bubble, but it comes out a month from today.

Ah, I wasn't aware of a KS thing. The Prologue should be out today. Yep- kickstarter people should have a code for it in their email.
Dammit - I don't back things on kickstarter, hopefully it's released for the rest of us plebs soon. Otherwise I'll just wait for the game.Ah, I wasn't aware of a KS thing.
Have not heard anything about them making the prologue available to everybody, but anything can change in the one month left until full release.Dammit - I don't back things on kickstarter, hopefully it's released for the rest of us plebs soon. Otherwise I'll just wait for the game.

Yeah, I would consider buying a physical artbook but digital with the Deluxe edition is kinda meh.I love the HR Giger inspiration for this game. Definitely been looking forward to this for a very long time. It'd be cool if they released a Collector's Edition physical release with like a art book or something because the environments and art direction is intoxicating and just my thing.
Probably not, other than game vs video. I played for a while last night and am loving the look / atmosphere of it. It's probably something that's speed-runnable in a very short time, but no spoilers and I'm just poking around and solving cold and it's not fast. I have no idea how far I am (I'm in a big chamber with a spiral tower and a second floor 25 meters up). I feel like I'm close to opening the big door to leave the area (just killed some poor sod and have an extra arm).is this different to the 8-minute prologue that was released yesterday on the game's official YouTube page?
Scorn seemingly supports DirectStorage, beating Forspoken to be the first game on the market to do so...
I'm really looking forward to seeing the DirectStorage benchmarks- Windows 10 vs Windows 11, PCIe 4.0 vs 3.0 etc
Yeah, at least they're trying something different.Honestly, even if it's just a walking simulator, I won't mind. I enjoy appreciating games like this with such good organic looking art/modeling/design. The gameplay is almost secondary. It's like appreciating some art.
