Now for some independent reviews/benchmarks... The pricing looks really good if the peformance claims hold up.

Probably going to go for the 3080. should be a sweet upgrade from the 1080ti according to the slides showing the performance.
September 17th (3080/3090)
Damnit, I need to put up my 2080ti for sale like right now.
The 3090 for $1500 is a tall price. Unfortunately, I don't think the 3080 is going to be enough to really push 4k/120. Until I see reviews that show otherwise, I'm going for the 3090. My credit card will just have to suffer for a bit.
you can see it on the card. he just didnt talk about it.No mention of the supposed 12pin power connector either.
For the 3070, better than 2080 Ti performance. Still too expensive for what I'd buy, but I guess the 3060 will be 2080 performance for $349-399, and the $199-249 bracket will become a 3050 for 2060-like performance. Not a bad generational jump, given they've maintained the price. Value/performance would be very different had they increased prices. Seems like they've listened to the complaints this past year.
Well that wasn't half bad. RTX 3080 for $699 and RTX 3070 for $499 (I don't really care about the 3090, a monster GPU at a monster price). For the 3070, better than 2080 Ti performance. It's not 2x faster than a 2080ti, it's 2x faster than a 2080, and we don't know in what regards, could be RTX scenarios only for that kind of boost.Looks like I’m getting the 3080. There’s no way the 3090 will be more than 2x faster than a 3080 right? Because it’s priced like it is. But 3080 being 2x faster supposedly than the 2080ti is pretty big and good enough for me. Also It would be impossible to build a itx system with the 3090 since it’s a 3 slot cooler.

I doubt any whining on any forums changed the price one bit.
The got people who are very good at calculating supply/demand...you overestimate the impact of forum-whining IMHO.
You know fuck it. Going all in on a 3090. AMD has no chance.
Just remember, the GTX 1080 Ti launched @ $699 with 11GB memory.Well that wasn't half bad. Perhaps 3040s will become what used to be a 1660 range, and 3030 the 1650 range.

RTX 3090- 8K 60fps!!
I wonder if the 3080 is the full chip or will there be a super. Hopefully reviews compare it to the 1080ti along with the 2080 for those of us that held out on turing.

You cannot go by what Jensen said about 2x performance etc etc. Wait for benchmarks, because for all we know the 2x performance is including RTX and DLSS. Not just straight raw performance. Don't get me wrong I do want one of the new cards, but marketing can be total BS.
For half the price, that is crazy. The price is the upper of what I was willing to pay. They must have read my mind. I will probably wait a month to see if anybody has artifacting problems before jumping inThe Twitter leaker that got everything else right, said 3080 has a cut down version of the same chip in the 3090.
If performance is 1:1 scaling generation over generation, and clock speeds remain the same, it is indeed 2x performance. It did state 30 TFlops for the CUDA cores (3080)...that is raster performance, like it or not.
2080 Ti is ~14TFlops.

I just posted pics further up the thread. #2326.
For reference the 2080ti is 14.2 TFLOPs for shaders and the 3070 is 20...
Of course wait for reviews but I’ve never seen TFLOPs to be deceiving? (Within same brand)
