RoboCop: Rogue City

Being an 80s kid, I think I’m going to have to buy it. I sure hope my little 10gb in my 3080 can pull the job at almost 1440p considering all the replies here.

It's on Steam sale for 30% off as well... worth getting? Or are there any remaining bugs that you'd hope to get sorted in subsequent patches?

I have kept an eye on this thread and am also eyeballing the current sales. Worth it or wait for a further price drop?

50 percent off at GOG as I write this. Worth it?
From what I've seen, the answer to that is an unequivocal yes if you're a Robocop and FPS fan. Nothing earth shattering, but a solid campaign with lots of fan service.

Terminator: Resistance did something similar and turned out to be a nice little mid-budget surprise.

Pretty damn late to the party on Robocop, but glad I finally found out about it.

So, after purchasing Stalker 2 and realizing quite quickly that it wasn't going to run on my aging rig, plus it needs a few more patches, I turned my attention to the year-old Robocop: Rogue City.

Didn't hear a thing about it, bought it rather cheap and am not disappointed. Appears that early on in the game infancy, this was pretty buggy. Admit, it didn't start for me right away until I found some fix on the internet, but since then running very well on the ol' rig.

Not open world, but wow the graphics surprised me. Coming from Stalker 2, to this game..... big difference. I understand you can't compare since one is complete open world and RC is linear, but it was a nice surprise...and it runs for the most part great.

Only issue really is the stuttering that reminds me of Dead Space remake.

Maybe once I'm done, Stalker 2 will have another patch, and I'll have a new rig.

"standalone extension" sounds like a sequel to me...

I'm on board. I just finished this one for the first time about a month ago. Very suprised on how fun it was. Thx for heads up!

Base game is available at 80% discount currently - I'm definitely buying. These kinds of games if well made can have an absurdly profitable long tail sales pattern even when they're selling for less than $10 . My hats off to them making the original with as much quality, and that there is a stand-alone-expansion coming this summer - getting Peter Weller to return too!

Greenmangaming has a steam key available for $7.80. I grabbed it (they're not a grey market seller, but an official one for all publishers they sell games from).

It would send it to the email you signed up for greenmangaming with. Check spam and if it's not there, click the resend link like it says to :).

Seriously? Just go to your GMG account page, click on purchased games, copy the activation code then go to Steam and paste the code in the activation page.

PEBKAC error methinks, based on other threads.

Right! No linking with Steam needed. I think that's only for the Community integration with other sites anyway.

Pivo, I'm starting to worry about you. :p Your account is 20 years old...have you never purchased a Steam game that wasn't on Steam before?

It asked me to link with steam to pay and buy the game.. Then I input my email address bc I maybe only used gmg once age's ago and it never sent a code to my email... Not my fault the site is trash.. Great the games out of stock to... Ugh

The site isn't trash, you just suck at using the internet. Like 98% of online store fronts today, just go to your account page and look for the "your purchases" option. It's really not complicated.
