Red Dead Redemption for PC?

How is that, isn't it a game that is the same as the old original only with new graphics or what? And didn't rockstar do the same? How could it be better than rdr2? How many hours of gameplay are there?

The game isn't as long as RDR2, but it's still a pretty long game. Roughly the length of one of the newer GTA titles. The main difference in gameplay between the two is that RDR2 has a VERY slow pace with like 40 different overlapping commands, dozens of overlapping inventory items, and a combat system that literally revolves around auto-aim. It's clunky as hell, but the world is just so damn great that you want to keep playing. RDR1 plays more like a GTA game. People originally called it GTA: Old West and that's essentially what it is. RDR2 is more like a traditional RPG that's shoehorned into the GTA engine.

What he said… plus, Red Dead, is the first game that’s really made me happy to have a Steam Deck. This game is just so good on the deck.

its better on a big screen with mouse and keyboard...

no but seriously hows the Mouse and keyboard implementation here? Okish or typical rockstar trash pc controls? I'll probably pick this up eventually after a price drop.

dont know, havent tried as i couch game but i was told its shit. its built for controllers because it was a console game.

RDR1 is 20% off for the Autumn sale on Steam, about as good as we can expect for Rockstar so soon. I'm actually a bit surprised they discounted it already; perhaps sales of this were lower than expected due to the 14 year wait and $50 price tag.

I doubt it will be much cheaper during the Christmas sale. Tempting as $40 is closer to the price it should've been in the first place, but it will probably eventually be 50% off just like the GTA Definitive Trilogy was if you can wait a while.
