Post your "rate my cables" here

I dont want to do it again because the wiring in that thing was a pain!, although, it was alot better then the Cheiftec Dragon he swapped out of!

As for games, most he plays is: C&C 2 red alert, C&C 3 Red alert, Starcraft + Brood war.

Reason he has 2 x 8800GT's was because i played games on his old rig :p

Im getting his old Q6600 and 4gb ram, and i bought a GTX 260 for my rig so i dont have to play them on his computer anymore! :D

Just redid them with the addition of my GTX 260 and made the 8800 GTS a physx card.

Specs:
AMD Athlon X2 6000+
8GB G.Skill RAM
Gigabyte GA-m57SLI motherboard
EVGA GTX 260 55nm 216 core 896MB
EVGA 8800 GTS 320mb
1000W silverston PSU
320GB HDD
4x 750GB HDDs
1.5TB HDD

28" Hanns G monitor

Where you get those clear sata cables from and how much?

Also, what is that thing in the last 3 pictures?

Damn dude, stop quoting multi-picture posts and use *SNIP* in place. You pretty much just took up an entire page for your 2 quotes.

Thing? you mean the sleeving on the cables coming from pc and ps3?
Samsung cable wraps, thing fling has em on rare occasion. $10 for 4 six foot sections.

the sleeveing can be had here:
http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=105&cp_id=10522
its also called flexowrap apparently.

BTW the APC powerstrip is plugged into my APC 2200VA UPS in my rack (not pictured).

New graphics card, tried re-routing the power cables and re-binding the SATA cables.
I include flash and no-flash, as the flash makes it look so much worse...

Man, the Antec P180b is a bitch to route cables in. Here is my best attempt to date. Specs in sig.

Any suggestions?

Well I think It's time for me to wire up my moms computer (old pc in sig) nicely. That and clean it. It looks like a storm hit o.0 Pics to come loll
Antec 900 sucks for wiring. Theres absolutely nowhere hide them.

I should have a new rate my cables picture up soon. I just have to figure out the fine details of my cable organization :).

I tried, but I can't think of anywhere else that I can put them. Do any other P180 owners know a trick to this?

I dont have P180 myself, but can you route them under that "Antec Design" thing?

Also, can you run the rear fan cable behind the mobo tray?

Okay I finally finished 2 hours later... These pictures were taken from my HTC tilt phone... So they aren't the best, but granted I think they look decent considering it's a phone.
I only snagged a few before pictures, but you can see the amount of dust everywhere. It's taking over o.0

Comments? Obviously it's not perfect but I don't think I could've done much better in this case. Nowhere to hide cables, unless I drill a hole, which I've never done before and I'm not to skilled with power tools. Maybe one day I will though?
edit: I'm sorry about the picture sizes, I resized them and reuploaded them but for some stupid reason it's showing the original pictures I uploaded. Maybe it is just photobucket delaying. I don't know.

There is space under that "Antec design" thing (next to the mount for the 3.5" bay), but Antec, in their infinite wisdom, did not put a hole or any other way to actually get the cables down there. I actually thought about drilling a hole there similar to the one I drilled above the motherboard, but I had already assembled the case at that point, and didn't want to take it apart. If i need to upgrade again, I will probably do this.

And yes, I can route the rear fan cable behind the motherboard. I will probably do that, though I may need to increase the length of that cable a bit.

Not really into dealing with this build since I have a V350 that wants attention, but good idea on the hole. Might get on it when I finish the cube. Too lazy to remove the dvd drive; will do that when I run out of 3.5" racks and need to convert.

The system runs with 1 leftover Noctua P12 exhausting out the back (added after), no intake. HDs are 35c and CPU is 50c.

Its been a while since I post here in [H], but heres what I'm working on. The cables are temporary until the case is finished. I did the cables in like 2 minutes lol. I'll post after shots soon!

This is the exact same case posted earlier in this thread back in like 2004.

^^ That's an interesting little bubble you have over your cpu cooler. Is it sucking air from the psu, or shunting air TO it?
Very nice cabling tho!

Its an older Zalman cooler. It sucks air away from the cooler into the PSU.

what do you guys think of my first build?

did a few more things and this is where im at now.

Very nice. Looks great, maybe tighten up those front panel cables at the bottom right of the board so they are almost hidden, same with the 24-pin. Although, that is really picky.

I get so tired of people showing uber clean pics, but fail to have certain cables plugged in. Hook up your optical drives, people.

Here's my current rig :) I posted on another forum as well but why not here where I think it belongs to begin with.

**Edit I've cleaned up a bit more since taking these pics, noticed some things that I really didn't see prior.
