Post your Intel Burn Test Temps

I have a quick question about using IBT and the speed(gflops) it shows during the tests. I just put together a rig for a buddy it has an i7 2600k OC'd to 4.5ghz 16gb of ddr3 ram @ 2133mhz and an asus maximus iv p67 board and I only get around 50-60 Gflops. Why is that number so low compared to most of you guys with similiar clock speeds, I've seen anywhere from 90-120 gflops from you screen shots.

Update to W7 SP1 has performance tweaks for Sandy Bridge processing.
 
I just upgraded from my i7 920 to a 3930k on a Asus Rampage IV Formula. I have it clocked at 4.7GHz atm with 1.37vcore and LLC on "High". I was suprised that this chip doesn't run hotter, but then again, this setup was able to tame my power hungry 920 quite well.

Running a 180.3 rad!...that will keep things cool. :)
 
when i test a few times on my 2700k the wattage would go over 1k i dont know if thats a bug or not but scared me might be the software i was using, i was using core temp when i did the intel burn

Also if you haven't already, disable Hyperthreading.

Biostar TZ68K+/2500K on an open air bench...Bios vcore set at 1.26v LLC enabled. Air cooled Noctua NHU-12P with push/pull and ambient temp ~21.2C.

Finally got around to running IBT on maximum and taking a screenshot. I saw a maximum power draw of 212 watts in coretemp.

EDIT: Notice that it's on maximum load and not standard that many people in this thread seem to be running. On standard I get like 52c compared to the temperatures in the image above.

I have an i7 3930k on an Asus R4F but Real Temp only shows the temps on 4 cores. What version or settings are you using to get the other 2 cores temps in Real Temp 3.70. So used to 4 cores I thought it was normal, until I saw your temps. POST EDIT: You're using the GT version which does show all 6 cores when I "DUH" use that as well. Anyway with an Archon & 2-140mm Silverstone penetrators push/pull blowing upwards on the IBT maximum test I had 78/73/73/72C maximum temps. But I'm just running everything at stock right now, so I think Archons coming out & NH-D14 is going in. If that doesn't get me some stable #s, then I might try the Corsair H series coolers. Just not loving the H2O idea in my PC.******Post Edit****** Removed Archon & put NH-D14 in with oem fans in a pull/pull setup blowing upwards. Set 16GB ram to 2133MHz,1.64vdc,11,12,11,36,1N & re-ran IBT standard in 142.51 secs. (7.4s-7.5s/118-119) Had Real Temp GT 3.70 show Max temps of 69,63,62,62,65,63C at 100% load & 100x38.0 or 3800.07MHz idles at 32,29,29,30,33,26C. Thats a 9C plus for the NH-D14 vs. the Archon, I didn't think NH-D14 would best the Archon by that much. That's a nice surprise :)

My computer passes 50 test and still it crashes, how in the world does a pc pass this test hitting temps of 73 C and then crash on idle lol
 
Still haven't figured out how to paste pictures.
I got 73C max temp with a 2500K OC to 4.5GHz and 1.30vcore with a HR-02 Macho

Edit:
I turned off the iGPU and got 64C with Vcore set to 1.25. Dunno if it has anything to do with it, but I'm happy with it.

IBT 132.29 sec. 6.90-7.01 sec. at 127.80-129.51 Gflops. Real temp gt max 73-67-66-66-69-67C, load 100%100.0 x 42.0 = 4200MHz. Kingston 16Gb ram at 2133MHz, 11/12/11/36/1T at 1.64vdc. Using an NH-D14 with oem fans in pull/pull blowing upwards at 1200 rpms. I also ran 2 hrs. of Prime95 at the same settings with a max of 79C. Not to shabby for an NH-D14. :D
 
edit: I had some idiotic settings and was throttling myself to get "5.0 ghz." With a proper setup (and using LinX w/ AVX instead of IBT), the settings I posted here didn't come close to stable. Removing my temps/pics since they aren't really valid.

i was just doing stability testing of my quad opteron setup... ran for about 5 hours or so in Intelburn "maximum" mode...

Setup is Quad Opteron (4 x Opteron 6100 ES chips = 48 K10 cores at stockish 2.1 GHz)... 4 x Noctua U9 D0 A3 Heat sinks.

i'll be running these at 3 GHz soon... they do run just fine at that speed... just need to update the fans, and add additional heat sinks/fans to the VRMs/MOSFETs before i try running IBT for extended periods of time. Currently, at 2.1 GHz... i see around 650-700w on the Kill-a-watt.

IBT is truly an amazing stress test though.
