yes, ESPN is my work connection..not sure if its considered an ISP, but it also serves ABC and Disney (since Mickey owns ABC + ESPN)
 
School (well, our labs anyways) got a speed upgrade! Though this test IS cheating just a little, since both us and this host are on the same fibre ISP :p

It's a thin client, so it's technically directly on the server. So I'm sure it's just a 1 GB connection from the router to server.

we just got a free upgrade from 10/768k to 15/1.5





Supposedly Suddenlink is investing over $250 Million in upgrading its Fiber network and backbones.. which is pretty cool!
 
After a fresh pfSense install my speed went up a little bit, I guess m0n0wall didn't like me.

i personally think pfsense si the best firewall/router OS, I have had the least amount of trouble with it.. at least when compared with smoothwall, smoothwall always had trouble getting my ip from the cable modem, and if the internet went down for whatever, it usually took an arm and a leg plus my first born, to get the ip from the modem again after it came back up, where as on PF Sense it would pick it up almost immediately..

Supposed to be 15Mb but that doesn't happen very often. Don't get me start on what Shaw offers for upload. :mad:

AT&T U-verse​

Just switched from Comcast (basically same speeds) for the 4-ch. DVR (super useful during Olympics!) & $400 sign-on bonus. Consolidating bills helps, too (need hardline for home alarm).
