Post Your 3DMark Vantage Score!

For some reason my 3.1ghz Q9300 with 410fsb gives me a 31000 cpu score. Is there any known glitches because that seems high.

My specs in sig, this was my first run on performance. 5870 is stock. Will do some test later with all closed windows.

will probably try another run with it clocked higher but for some reason vantage doesnt like my shaders clocked at 1458 even though all my games can run it fine with the shaders at 1458..

How the hell can an 8800GT get a higher score than a 4870?

New: physx enabled

if your refering to me.. im running a GTX 260 216 core 55nm.. to lazy to update my sig.. just realized i didnt say what it was in the post though..

ahh i see!! lol That'll be it then!

i actually wish i could find out what my 8800GT would do in vantage.. but vantage refuses to run my card with my 736/1836/1015 overclock.. even though crysis runs butter smooth with it and every other game..

For my Play rig (@3.6ghz, 19x190)

3DMark Score
P17595 3DMarks
CPU Score
21593
Graphics Score
16572

For those of you with an i7, do you guys have HT enabled in your BIOS before those Vantage runs?

Am i missing something? How Do you Erik get twice as much points with your 920 when i have mine clocked at 3.8 and get 23xxx. I am still new to this, so could someone explain it to me, aswell as a phenom 940 clocked at 3.3 getting twice the score with the CPU as my i7 does...something is not right

I have no idea, HT maybe? Doesnt seem like it has a huge effect on the overall score though. The better question might be to Rossi~, his cpu score nearly doubled between his two tests.

maybe you have something running in the back ground.. dunno..

edit* you know what.. i think its because your running an ATI card and its counting the fact that the cpu is running the physX and not the gpu.. ill do a test with physX disabled on my GTX 260 and see if my cpu score drops.. its the only thing i can think of that would cause the lower score..

Why would you do it with hardware physics? it's pretty much invalid that way.

because ATI cards dont support physX so i was going to check to see if that is what's causing the low CPU score.. DUH!..

well i gave it a try.. but it refused to ever complete a full loop with the physX off and im not in the mood to keep trying to get it to work..

Turn HT on.

Physx will increase your CPU score A LOT. And it would seem a dedicated Quadro FX 3700 kinda sucks at handling physx compared to a 260

I went to run 3dmark vantage... turns out it wont run on a system with more than 4cores with HT.

Lame

I have my 4850 TOP as my main, stock 680/1050. 8800 gt for physx.
i7 920 at 4.0 (20x200) with HT off. Wonder if the score would increase if I turned it back on.
Is it just me or does my 4850 have a shitty score?

Here's the score I got from the specs in my sig (incase you have sigs turned off, i7 920 @ 4.4ghz HT off, dual geforce 260 (216core) mildly overclocked).

Here's my score for 3dmark06 (same dual 260 cards):

Here's my score for 3dmark06 with a single 5870 (slightly lower cpu 4.2ghz but with HT on):

Here's my score for 3dmark06 with dual 5870s (same as above cpu speed):

I wasn't impressed with Crossfire AT ALL (not the only thing I tested it with of course) so i returned both 5870s. Maybe eventually the drivers will mature more and I'll go back to it... maybe.

my results were:
3DMark Score
P6435 3DMarks
CPU Score 6009
Graphics Score 6591
system specs in sig

Core i5-750@4.0Ghz
Radeon 5970
8800GTX (PhysX only)

Dang- whats the deal with your CPU score with the 5970? Is that because you have a 8800GTX in there for PhysX?

I don't care about uploading. I was just wondering how my rig would compare.

I can't get the dam thing to recognize my current results - it keeps analyzing my 2008 results!

25k for a 5970 and 8800GTX??

My Rig does 28k with a 5970, No Phyxcard and a I7 at 3,8Ghz :O

Dude something is up with your rig

I used a 9800GT just now as a Physx and i got 34k

I have a HIS 5970 as well, should I be worried abt my card is Vantage always fail to start the test? It gives some fail to load message. I'm running 10.2 drivers.
