Is that right? Why is my CPU score so high?

Specs in sig (except this was only for one GTX260... one is being RMAed right now).

When I ran it, my CPU was over clocked to 3.4GHz and the GPU was overclocked to 700 core/1150 mem.

I was wondering if anyone catch that.

Just trying to be funny.

thanks for returning my sarcasm.

thanks,

This was my [email protected] and the GPU at 679/1512/1185. While I don't have much headroom left, I've got my CPU stable to 3.72GhZ and I've seen a lot of GTX 275 OCs already that are around 700MhZ for the GPU and 2400MhZ for the memory so I could prolly post 14.5k. I like how stable my system is gaming though, and this score reflects that

Wondering why my scores are so much lower than everyone elses. Everything seems to be running fine...

its1337 nvidia ownership skillz (physx) and overclocking for me. I've got my PCIe bus set to 104 MhZ instead of the standard 100, so I imagine like 50 point bonus for that, too lol. I'll make a run without physx tomorrow when I get home from work so you can see how our systems SHOULD stack up.

Smoove, with physx turned off and everything at stock speeds (including the fan for my GTX 275 because theoretically it will heat up enough during 3dmark that you will see a few frame drops) I scored:

X3 [email protected] - GTX 275@648/1440/1152 - physx off
P9968
GPU-11304
CPU-7357

X3 [email protected] - GTX 275@648/1440/1152 - physx on
P13539

X3 [email protected] - GTX 275@696/1546/1195 - physx on
P14512
GPU-11970
CPU-39988

its odd, though, that my 3DMark06 scores are just barely higher... my vantage scores with my 9800GTX+ were HALF of my 3DMark06 scores, but not my vantage score is only about 2000 off... oh well. 3DMark06 doesn't count worth hell anymore.

Just got my second GTX260 back. My score at an overclock of 3.0GHz (kind of scaling it back because of power draw, heat, etc), with no overclock on the video cards was P20,206 (GPU 17,302 CPU 40,692).

Hey I have a question for the pros about vantage scores, if I get a slightly lower score using the newest official drivers should I revert back to the older ones?

I got a score of p18963 16914gpu 29784cpu with the latest whql drivers 182.5
I don't notice this minor difference in games so I'm wondering if it's just better to keep the newest drivers because they might be better "in game"?

I call shens...
I got a 13691 at stock clocks..I need to run it again at my OC settings.

I don't think it's invalid.

(As I'm running Windows 7, I don't have certified drivers to make it a comparable score).

i built a computer for my parents this week with that motherboard and a X4 810 + 4850 and score slightly lower than that. P-II don't score well in other synthetics so why would this be any different.

it is because you are running with physx off which is why you have a proper score.if you turn physx on it will jump up to about p12-13000 ish

i wonderd why my 4870x2 was scoring p15564 which is just above my gtx275 then i got told to turn physx off on the nvidia card and then i would see my true score which was p12080
