Thanks again for all the great service, I couldn't have pulled this off without you guys.

got the email from performance-pcs.com that my order has been shipped :)

cant wait to see the pics

Very clean setup. I absolutely love seeing pictures of my cases after the guts are put in. Makes me all warm and fuzzy. Anyway, my wife has the card reader for my phone, so I won't be able to post any pictures for you over the weekend. I'll see if there isn't something I can do though, but no promises. Monday at the latest. Hope you like it. Oh, and the price we charged you for that was very fair. It took me a couple hours to do everything right. May have to break out the tools and do my own this weekend.. Hmmm.... :D

ah, its ok....was just kinda anxious....but the case will be here soon and I'll take pics for all to see

Yeah, I know. That stuff looks good. I had a foot and a half laying in a door, so I used that. I'll ask Hank on Monday and if I can remember and post back here.

about that clear molding, i called about it thursday and was told they'd have some next week. i hope they have it soon. i have some stuff to order and am waiting on the molding to be in stock before placing the order.

I hope it comes in. I really like using that stuff for interior holes on Lian Li cases. Looks factory. Anyway, I hope you're right. By the way alko, I have my phone and my card reader. I'm going to post some pictures momentarily.

Here are your pictures Alko. Sorry it took so long. I am very happy with the PSU divider and the Harddrive rack. No job is complete though without leaving small piece of yourself behind right? Got a nice rap on the knuckles when the drill bit in and slammed my hand into the fan bracket that holds the CPU duct. Owie. Enough blabber, bring on the pictures right??

do you guys have any of that grey grommet used on the edges of the factory cutouts on the "shelf" of the case? i'd love to get ahold of two of those smaller ones used in the v1200.

dude yours looks great.

i cant wait for mine to get finished like that aswell

? though is what is up with the drivebay cut? what does that do along with the PSU thing?

The ATX connector will enter the side of the PSU divider, then into the side of the HDD rack, the up through the top of the HDD rack, then through the center shelf to get plugged in.

What do you think??

it looks awesome......great job bro! it looks exactly how I had wanted it...but i only had a couple mins to look at it....didnt even have a chance to open it up yet.....but it looks nice just peeking inside

WE WANT PICS, WE WANT PICS, WE WANT PICS

well i want to see what your inards look like, but take you time and take tons o pics XD

I can't wait to see how everything turns out. Putting the finishing touches on my other BIG project tomorrow. GTS 360 top, GTS 240 bottom, two Mag 2 LE pumps, a rear mounted Coolplex 10, front mounted bullseye.... You guys have got to see this!! I love everything except the actual case it's in and the sleeving color. A little too gotty for me. But man it looks nice.

hey level......was just wondering about some of these usb/firewire cables

theres the normal wires and then there is a block.....are they all the same and you did it like that because some MBs support either way.....not sure if it makes sense but here is a pic

see the single cables (usb1, etc) and then there is that one big 8 pin block.....can i just plug that one into the MB instead of the other ones?

i will post pics of the case in a few......trying to get everything all together before I start installing things

here are the first few pics

you can use the one big block, and lian-li makes them like that.

cool, thanks! had another question as well.....on the A8N-SLI Premium there are (2) single usb headers on the bottom of the board (USB12 i think is written) and there is another that says USB56....can i just use that big block on the 56 instead of the 2 (USB12s)?

it'll be a while.....just ordered some new parts so once they come in I will finish putting everything in.....I've got my game plan all together just waiting for the rest of the new parts to arrive.

Ladies and Gentlemen... Boys and Girls... Here it is. The project that has plagued me the last week... This starts as a Lian Li V2100B. The client opted for the Bolt-On window with the V2100 Laser Etch on it. No big deal.... But, it was supposed to be the Gibzilla edition. So we decided on a triple radiator grill. However, the client wanted to show off a Raptor drive. So, what else could I do? Give him what he wanted! To do that, I had an acrylic Triple Rad grill laser cut with a blank portion in the front so I could mount his drive in the top bay and show it off....

Well, long story short, it never works out. The radiator did not leave enough room to moun the drive where he wanted it. So, we found something better. I used Scythe's Hard Drive Stabilizer 2 to give me a mounting surface. Then I drilled the necassary holes and mounted the Raptor ABOVE the drive bays just under the top window. Sweeeeeet.

But he couldn't leave well enough alone, with a 1 Kilowatt power supply, he was going to go all out. So he decided he wanted TWO radiators. The GTS360 in the top and now a GTS 240 in the bottom. Fun fun... I removed the rear harddrive cage and turned the front one to face the front of the case. (The cages are drilled square so the holes still line up.) I then mounted the Radiator to the harddrive cage. He will lose at worst one spot for mounting. The rest of the cage is still completely usable.

Two rads, two pumps right?? The client expressed a real liking to the new Danger Den Mag 2 LEs. But where can I put those and make it look Gibzilla worthy... Hmmm. Right above the monster PSU? I took the pumps apart and rotated the nozzles to eject in a more suitable direction. I also moved the mounting bracket to the top of the pump. This allowed me to mount the pumps technically upside down, but keep the signature "DD" reading true. Mount these puppies side by side and you have another meaning, "Dualing Dragons."

We painted a Silver Bullseye baymount to match the black case for the first sytem, and installed a Coolplex 10 in our normal Performance-PCs fashion threaded through the rear meshing above the 120mm fan. I then drilled two 120mm exhaust holes as closely together as I could to give the bottom GTS some place to put that nasty hot air. Meshing the holes then using black Buttonhead screws, evens everything off QUITE nicely. But don't take my word for it, here are some pictures!

That's Crazy.

Wow, I mean I couldnt even of thought of that unless I actually had the money, because normally I wouldnt have the motivation of thinking up such a case.

Very very, verry nice work man! I always buy from Performance-PCs when I can, and im not just saying that b/c im in a thread like this, and this may sound stupid but I bought a Yate Loon fan from you guys, and the sleeving was really good :d

Thanks for the thread and pics!

Case Arts 120mm Mesh Grill in Black. Nothing fancy, but I used the Button Head scres to dress them up. It all turned out VERY nice. I want the client to use two different colors fluids. When they exit the pumps, two of the lines run parallel. I would love to see the two colors mix behind each other, then split off in opposite directions. VERY COOL!

as far as the design of dual radiators setup shown above, it's very difficult to take component in and out (should I say pain in the a$$) need to give extra tubing to lower rad so you can remove side panel, why not using DDC+ (4.7m head) pump instead Mag LE (2.5m head)? by the way nicely done hope your client happy and show off his case to his friends and family :) Levell0rd do you guys do special service for etching?

Performance PCs rocks! Ive ordered so much from you guys :D Excellent sleeving on my power supply. Excellent prices. Excellent everything. I can always count on you guys to carry whatever I need.

Why do I care about extra tube for the side panel? The rad is attached to the hard drive cage, not the panel. Just the mesh is attached to the panel. It is completely removable. Not a problem there.

And yes. If you give us a picture, we can forward it to out laser guy and have it taken care of. We're using the Mag 2 because that is what the client wanted.

Wow that is freaking amazing. How are you cooling the raptor by the way? Also, will UV rays harm the disc?

thanks.

That Raptor should be shielded just like a normal hard drive, so I would say no. As far as the cooling, we aren't worried about it. There won't be a problem.

where is a good source to get the little rubber gromets you put in the motherboard after you cut the holes? ive been looking for some of em.
