Microsoft Live Club

I'm aiming for the 360 controller since it'll work in windows and the ticket cost is pretty low... should be able to get enough by tomorrow (started yesterday).

Edit: Argh... hit my daily limit at 1050 :/
 
What size GB-wise is the Zune? I'm gunnin for it but was wondering if its gonna be worth it or not.

I got mine and its not just the controller, its also got the USB receiver so you can use it on a pc.
 
Cool :) Glad to have that confirmed. I presumed it was the case from the description but it's nice to be certain as I don't own a 360 and would be pretty disappointed if it didn't work on my pc.

for the record, anagrammer doesn't work. I've tried it for flexicon and it never has mine in the database

also i've tried to do it myself and after about 10+ puzzles I find them actually too hard to honestly complete

i was just using that site for flexicon, using the auto fill scripts, and it had every puzzle for me.
 
:confused: Works for me...

I just put a unique word (from the clues) or 1 across on the search... the puzzles are titled based on the flexicon (the big word/clue).
 
i dunno why it refuses to work for me...i can type in any of the up/down terms including "the flexicon" and it still does not come up with the solutions of my puzzle
 
So far I've gotten a Zune, MS USB Mic/Headset, and waiting for my Xbox360 wireless controller with USB adapter thing Woot!!!!! :D

All legit.

Yea the 12 week thing is crazy. I ordered a little 1 song download and that was even said to "ship" in 12 weeks exactly. But I'm 1/4 the way to a Zune, woot.
 
I'm going for the microsoft keyboard and mouse set, doing it honestly through flexicon. not actually that hard really

I never got a confirmation email. I didn't expect much and had given up, but in time, I received my Vista Ultimate and the wireless headset. Took about 4 months for Vista and 2 months for headset.

people posting cheats raised the first prize of vista ultimate edition for 6,000 tickets to the current vista home premium for 20,000 tickets

Well, the chicken word game is 20 tickets if you do all of the words, but pays better per minute if you just get all of them that you can quickly and don't wrack your brain trying to finish each puzzle.

The fill in the blanks chain game is easy and quick, too... not sure how many different games of it there are or if they make sure they don't repeat, though, so it may potentially be possible to run out of boards for that one.
 
my webcam that I got from microsoft live club (vx 6000) just broke :(. THe mic on it works but no video.
 
I tried the live search bar, and it made my pages scroll horribly. It introduced a whole bunch of lag into scrolling and moving IE. Removed the bar and all is back to normal. I think this deal would have been worth the effort at the beginning when things were less points, but now I don't think so.
 
here's a tip for getting around the 1xxx points per day. start up a game that you haven't played much (the two new "chicktionary" type games come to mind "spelling bee" and the babeball themed one) and never close the game screen. leave it open and have your anagramssolved.com or anagrammer.com window open for the letter unscrambler. leave it open, go to work, come home, continue to play, get more that 1xxx points per day. i've gon from 6,000 to 15,000 points in the matter of 4 days by doing this. if you run out of puzzles, you will be hit with the message that you have reached your daily max, however.

dont they cancel ur points if u go way over the 1k daily limit? It seems dumb this bug has been around and is available, however ive heard u will be flagged for "cheating" by going way over the daily limit

its not worth it to me to have my points/account banned for using that "exploit"

I don't know how exactly they determine if you are cheating or not, though I do know that it's not as easy to cheat as it used to be (or if it is I don't know how to do it). I earned around 1200 today so hopefully that's not too many in one day.

lol, the funny thing is for the amount of time I spend on club.live it would probably be faster to just get a part time job and just buy this stuff.
 
yup but its not as fun, and can control other things like when u wanna stop / eat / music / what to wear / watch tv at same time etc

haven't lost any points/been banned yet...

they put that anti spam picture thing in to help them prevent cheating... so as long as i don't type too fast, i am not technically cheating.

also i think they added those games so that they could get rid of their stock to shut the site down in the future. that's just speculation, but if they had actually planned on keeping the site up, they would have actually added the xbox360back in early january when they promised. 2c
 
errr... having a daily ticket limit voids the acceptance of going over that limit on a daily basis simply because of a exploit

they didnt promise more 360's in stock at the beginning of the year, they said to check back at the start of the new year. How do u know 500 people havent claimed the stock that was added in the beginning of the year. Its a hot "prize" so of course it will go fast.

The vacuum cleaner and video camera are expensive products that were added in (4Q2007), this proves that they arent clearing stock to shut the site down

remember WE are paying microsoft for participating in this program. (MARKET SHARE) If the site were to be shutting down / clearing stock, it would simply be returned to MS as the majority of the products are microsoft branded
 
I did this when it first came out. I got my points ligit well, I didn't use any programs lol, but anyways. It's been like 5 or something months i don't even remember. I emailed them about not getting my prizes and got a automated email back and it said if that didn't answer my question then i should email them again. I did and didn't get anything. I'm pissed now cus I want my prizes. Anything else i can do?
 
I tested it out and I just received my 1 free song. Went ahead and ordered the keyboard set and thinking about getting the 360 controller since it works with windows. Does anyone have a link to a product description of the controller on another site?
 
u want to contact incentive logic or w/e, its the company that ships the products for microsoft
