hmmmm, interesting, this is the first time I noticed this thread
can anyone verify whether ordering multiples of the same item works or not? I had no idea about it and have orders in for 3x 360 wireless controllers, which by the way sucks that they just took them down, I wanted to have all 4 wireless
 
If you order more than 1 hardware or software item per account, you have to slightly change your name or address so it'll still send it to you, otherwise it'll see the same name/address and it won't. It says right on the order page "1 hardware/software per household", so if your address is Microsoft Lane just make it Microsfot.
And you might not get those controllers :(. People who ordered keyboards up to November are receiving headsets instead of the keyboards, so it could be the same deal for the controllers.

i seriously don't get why people are freaking out about this "1 hardware/1 software". all sorts of people have gotten more than 1 of either, and exactly how many people have been sent denial letters? i haven't heard of any. simply confounding

Boy will I be pissed if I get a headset instead of a 360 controller. Oh well, as long as I get something I guess, it is free after all.

Heh, I just checked the prizes a minute ago and for some reason it only loaded the frequent flier miles which startled me a fair bit. Fortunately everything else loaded the second time I tried.
 
Well I got another package a few days ago. I was hoping it would be another web cam since my other one broke :(. It was that vx 3000 headset instead. :( I have little use for it so I just gave it to my dad. I forgot I even ordered that headset.
 
I redeemed a Xbox 360 controller and a few other smaller items (zoo tycoon, shirts, maybe a few other things) last year and I still have not received any of it!
 
Anyone know what the stars mean at the bottom of your username? I have 4/5 that are red. Is it based on how many tickets you have?
 
never really noticed or when i did payed attention

however i have 5 red stars with a carreer total of 36,301 tickets

i also have 5 stars and a total of 58,524 tickets, i think it took me to 5 stars at 30,000 tickets... but that was so long ago. :D
 
do you get any other confirmation after your prize is shipping other than the one taht they send right after you order?

I never got e-mail confirmation on two items, but on my last two i have only gotten the one confirmation mail.

i have been playing since august last year, it took about a month to get to 2,500 to get the xbox 360 controller. once i discovered that anagramssolved.com site, i started again in october, at the time i was going for an xbox 360, but after a month i was at 20,000, and decided to just get the Zune (already have a 360). and then it took another week to get another 5,000 for the kb/m. once the added the other two word games it took about 1.5 months to get to 30,000 going 1,500/day for about 2 hours a day. good times
 
Nice, yeah I use anagramssolved.com and I currently have max points on Chicktionary, so working on Spelling Bee and the Baseball one, which is more graphically appealing. Currently 5k points away from Rock Band and its been almost a month since I ordered a wireless keyboard/mouse set and no conformation.
 
yeah, i heard the kb/m are being replaced with a headset, so good luck with that. also, i really sucks that rockband was originally 18500, for one day that is. and now it's 25,000
 
not sure y they removed cheap microsoft branded products and replaced it with a "high end" third party product

For those of you who have ordered ring tones before, how does it work. I mean, are they going to take 12 weeks to mail me a code or something, or should I be looking for an email? If they're going to take a couple months I'll just make my own.
 
After spending the points for the XBOX Controller for PC, I never received an e-mail confirmation and three days later, they took down the controller. I sure hope they send it to me and not a substitution.

That happened to the kb/m for me too. If they give me a cheat ass headset they'll hear crap from me until they either give me point back or find a damn keyboard/mouse. I know it's free no matter what but still I picked the keyboard and mouse hoping for a damn keyboard and mouse lol.

Doesn't matter too much though, working on another account and a friend will let me ship it to them, so I guess I'll just stock up a ton of points and pick up Vista Ultimate and resell it and then maybe an xbox 360 if they ever get it back up

and yeah, it is garbage that they are replacing items without notice, they should at least give you your points back if you don't want a freakin headset... that's just them trying to unload merch.
 
My keyboard/mouse got replaced with a vx3000 webcam, even though I already had ordered one and had it.
 
How friggin' long does it take to get the stuff? I got confirmation on the kb/m on Dec. 27th, and no communication since :mad:

That seems a bit long, but I've generally found that when they say 12 weeks, they mean 12 weeks, not longer, not shorter. Actually, it might have been more like 13 weeks before I started to get my magazine subscription.
 
Oddly enough, I got a KB/M today. It wasn't the Bluetooth model I expected, but it is a wireless Natural Multimedia KB and Intellimouse 2.0 combo. Once I get used to the keyboard, it seems nice.

Look at the prizes, if there is something you want, go for it. I mean, there isn't a time limit on this program though there is always the chance that they will run out of an item during the 12 weeks that it takes them to send it to you in which case they will probably send you something less desirable.

Yeah, I was going to drop some points for a wired 360 controller for use on my PC's, but that isn't on the list currently. I'll just wait until something I want appears, and keep playing crosswire or that crossword puzzle game to get more points on occasion. BTW, this Natural keyboard is funky as all hell.
 
doesn't seem like there is anything else worth the time and effort anymore. gee...i guess i could use a roomba if i'm that lazy. :p
 
I'm only doing this for the Roomba. It will take approximately 62 hours. I need a better way, perhaps a job?

lol, you forgot to mention the 2 months that it would take them to send it to you.

That's the thing that bugs me about this program. You could get a $50 xbox controller for 2500 points, but to get Rockband that sells for around $170 you need 25,000 points. aka ten times the points for 3.5 x the value.

Has anyone ever ordered a ringtone from live search club? It says that they will send it to you via email but since it's been over a month since I ordered I'm guessing that they plan on taking 12 weeks to send it to me. I guess that I was hoping that since it it's all done online that they would get it to me sooner. Not that it really matters if I get it or not since I just make my own ringtones out of mp3s.

After 1 month and 15 days of waiting.

However, I ordered the Wireless KB/Mouse combo a month earlier and heard nothing about it.

u got a shipping notification ??? i never have nor have i heard of anyone getting a shipping notification...

only prize iv e recieved is vista

ive stoped playing the games until i recieve the prizes i ordered in febuary 08
 
I forgot about this. Ever since I cashed in for the 360 controller I haven't played since. I sure hope they don't forget about me. :{
 
Man, I really hope that it doesn't actually take exactly 12 weeks for me to get my stuff. lol, I'm only going to be at my current address long enough for it to have been 11 1/2 weeks. I will be incredibly pissed off if my stuff shows up a couple of days after I've moved a couple thousand miles away.

Didn't they originally say 8 to 12 weeks? Today makes 9 weeks since I ordered my stuff.
