Now, help me out here. Doesn't that code indicate that this cpu was manufactured during the 24th week of 2005?! My 3000+'s code is 0544 (bought it in Jan 06 - about 9 weeks after manufacture) and my 3200+'s code is 0605 (bought it in April 06 - about 11 weeks after manufacture). If this processor is that old then AMD has been holding out on us a very long time - one full year after manufacture date! I just called StarMicro to see if it was a pull but they said it was brand new and there is a stamp on the receipt indicating that the cpu was tested. Very curious! I had heard that these cpu's were being supplied only to system vendors (eMachines being one) so perhaps due to the coming price cuts and possible backlog of inventory these were released for sale just to move them out. Very interesting.
I am also surprised by the LBBLE code. My 3000+ code is CBBWE and my 3200+ code is NBBWE. Both the 3000+ and 3200+ are DH-E6 cores and the 3400+ is supposed to be a DH-E3 core.
I'll find out tomorrow night when I get it installed and run CPU-z on it. I am amazed that AMD has had these particular cpu's in their inventory for so long. Kind of makes you wonder what else they might pull out of their knapsack.

BTW I had mistakenly said that StarMicro was out of Fresno but actually they are in Fremont CA. Just wanted to clarify that.
