got mine from apples site after finding a nice trick.
if youve been trying to pre-order the phone on apples site, just add a trivial item to the cart, i added a black bumper for the iphone, and inside your cart will be the iphone, just head to the checkout and everything will go through smooth.
im assuming this only works well for those who are upgrading a line and arent changing anything on that line.
it was fully subsidized. keep in mind that i had previously gotten pretty far with the initial pre-order page but it timed out on meDid you get the subsidized pricing? Or did you pay the straight up price?

Now AT&T's account system is totally down. I gave up on the iPhone and wanted to log in just to pay my bill!
that i dont know because i actually wanted what i added to the cartWere you able to remove the additional item from the cart?
Shame I can't get pass the check for eligibility stage... I'm trying to do the "Existing > upgrade" option. I think this is ATT's database that's timing out.
I urge some of you guys to check your cart before trying to go through the process again, I just saw that there was a 32gb iPhone 4 in my cart ready to go, despite getting timed out on all of the sessions I had been through, so I finished up there, order placed at the correct price, printed, awaiting confirmation email.
Yeah, they'd rather take money from those of us locking ourselves in for 2 years instead of those of you on the way out lol.
as of june 1, ATT has a new ETF fee of $325.I'm planning on the ol' "add a line" for the subsidized phone, then since it's pre-June 1, 2010 take the $175 ETF for the original line and still save about $125 or so.

i see you have everything planned out...For contracts after June 1, 2010.

What a disaster."This morning while trying to pre-order the iPhone 4 through AT&T website, my login brought me to a ‘website unavailable' screen. After a refresh it brought me to the phone upgrade page logged in under a different account, some dude from Lakewood OH!"
Go to the app store on your phone and download the Apple Store app and use it to pre-order:

That's not a "real" pre-order though, is it? Just a reservation. If you can't get to the store on time for whatever reason, your place is lost, no?

That is likely to be the case. If you want it on the 24th and don't want to stand in any lines, just wait for things to cool down a bit so you can pre-order for delivery.Yea, was wondering about this as well. I am fairly certain is does guarantee you a phone though that day which is really what mattered. I may regret this decision of getting it shipped from at&t if i go there and lines are wrapping through the mall.
If I go to the AT&T store and pre order. Can I have it shipped to my house as if I was ordering online?
