Any TV show, movie, book, or music album, what would you pick and why?
My choice would be a book, which is actually a tetraology called The Book of the New Sun by Gene Wolfe.

It would be beyond epic playing as Severian and starting out as a lowly apprentice torturer in the Torturer's Guild and then going to the part to where I am cast out of the guild for the crime of mercy by showing mercy to a woman who was scheduled to be tortured and executed.
I would prefer this to be a true role playing game in the vein of an Elder Scrolls title, with a really good graphics engine to do justice to the environments depicted in this game, and it would really fit the whole sci-fi/fantasy motif. Bethseda did an excellent job with Fallout 3, best I can say is this game would be a mixture of Oblivion and Fallout 3.
The game would be awesome as I travel through exotic locales of Urth with her as my companion as I meet other companions and have adventures on Urth culminating in meeting the Autarch and gaining Terminus Est, the sword that means The End in Latin.
It's kind of like a sci-fi/fantasy mixture, but a good one, and the story would be really epic and worth playing through, it would likely be just one game to follow all 4 of those books to make sure there's enough material to cover in a game and give gamers a good long adventure to play through.
If there would be a sequel, it would have to be based on the Book of the Long Sun and the Book of the Short Sun, and each would be their own adventure, so I suppose a trilogy is possible.
I just wish some developer or company would see the potential here.
How about you guys, what's your choice? Don't forget to list the reasons why you pick it.
