i consider the greatness of an overclock to be the percentage over stock. i think my old celeron 600@1035 (172%) was a [H]arder overclock than my current p4 [email protected] (142%)
1.6A @ 2.13. I've had it up to 2.4 before but I need better RAM and a better heatsink to keep it totally stable.

Could those people possibly step forward and say what your OC'ing and how your doing it? Even those Pentium4 2.4's didn't go up to 3.4, i don't think.

but you can do 3.3 easy on stock cooling with the 2.4c procs. I know I have with a friend of mines. we actually got 3.4 stableVulcanus said:2.4c was at 3.3 (18 * 183) With an Alpha 8942 and a panaflo H1A
Since then the mounting hardware for the the alpha broke and i haven't gotten around to ordering/finding replacements so im using the stock cooler at 2.4
