Well for now I'm sitting on my 2.8C @ 3.43GHz....but its cus this AI7 won't let go get any higher.....the new DFI board is sposed to be arriving tomorrow though. :)

2.4 @ 3.4

i consider the greatness of an overclock to be the percentage over stock. i think my old celeron 600@1035 (172%) was a [H]arder overclock than my current p4 [email protected] (142%)

It says three people have oveclocked their CPU by 1ghz. Unless these are phase-change Athlon FX-53's or P4EE i'd be suprised if this was true. Could those people possibly step forward and say what your OC'ing and how your doing it? Even those Pentium4 2.4's didn't go up to 3.4, i don't think.

You must have overlooked this one ;)

mine 2.4 runs at 3.4 just fine, ive seen some 2.4's go as high as 3.7ghz

And mine ;)

2.4C @ 3.45 ... I'm shooting for 3.6 as soon as I have some free time to reseat my HS.

BTW, a 1 Ghz oc on a 2.4 isn't that uncommon.... most of the people I know with 2.4's get at least 1 gig on theirs.

I wish I had a prometia cooling rig...I bet my 3000+ would do 2.6-->2.7 considering it does 2.5 on a silent water cooler rig at only 1.55v...

2.8c@ 3.8...2

1ghz+! Am I [H]ard now? :(

(the answer is no.. still got work to do :p)

My P4 2.4C comfortably and achieves stability at a FSB of 260 (5:4), creating a clock frequency of 3.2 Ghz.

However, this is with only 3 80 mm generic fans, 1 Antec LED 80 mm fan, the original heatsink and fan unit, and a very low amount of actually meddling with settings. I'm sure if I worked on better cooling, I could achieve far better results. Not bad at all though, for how little effort I've put into it.

sorry to rant, but shouldn't this poll be about the percentage overclocked rather than actual MHZ. Most people know mhz doesn't really mean shit, and percentages would be more helpful.

It is easier for ppl to count raw MHz for the poll. While it may mean more or less depending on what platform you're running....it still is what it is. There are FX53's out there clocked at 3.3GHz, 2.4C's at 3.6GHz, and 3.4EE's at 4.5GHz.....its happening more and more.

If you really do disagree with the thread......start your own, it's that simple. I know you werent trying to be judgemental.....but the thread is what it is.

2600M @ 2500 MHZ... i have NO idea what the original clock is tho. didn't see it out of the box - went straight to 12.5x200. :D

the 2600 runs at 2.0ghz.

11x166 I believe.........well.....stock clock is 1.8GHz.....making it a 700MHz OC.....not bad.

Gotta love the 2600XP-M man =D

Might go for 2.6Ghz again with the new RAM...(12.5 x 208)

Good stuff.....now I just wish I would have waiting to put in my vote.....because I went from 3.43GHz on my 2.8C up to 3.69GHz with the new board....which would move me up a notch in the polls. :p

Nothing too [H]ard at the moment, but I've begun, and I'll probably beat the living crap out of every computer I own for the rest of my life now.

Anyways, I have a 2.66B @ 3200 (160*20). That's 540 MHz over stock, or about 20%. Like I said, it's not all that [H]ard, but it's not chump change, either.

I need a vTT mod yet, and also just ordered the OCZ DDR booster... 2.8c @ 3.7ghz, 1 gig of Geil PC4400 @ 1:1.

Very similar to what I'm running....2.8GHz @ 3.69GHz with 2x512MB OCZ PC4000EL 1:1 528MHz 2.5-4-4-7. With the booster I'll have enough voltage to get better stability with those nice clocks at 2.5-4-3-5 again. :D

My board revision has the VDIM stabalized, and the mem is at 2.9v. The vTT mod will help me out when I go past 265 on the fsb. I intend to keep the mem @ 1:1. ;)

-edit- Added mem score...

See sig. Stock is 1.7 ghz I believe.

Actually, IIRC, stock is 1.72GHz... Doesn't matter, though, because I'm this close |..| to hitting 2.4GHz with my 2100+ in sig. (and, yes, it is 24 hrs+ dual Prime stable...on air...without a super loud fan on its SLK-900U :p )

Unless you have double sided mem you are kinda fucked. Well, on my board anyway. I can only run single sided in dimm 1 & 2, meaning the booster is in 3 and it it DOES NOT FIT!!! ....unless you take off the heatsinks, and then it gets so damn hot you get errors.

A64 3200+ 2.2 @ 2.57, 1.575v... 11x234 on a Koolance Exos
If anyone has suggestions on how to improve this... that would be cool...

The board is an IC7 Max3, memory is Geil and is rated @ PC4400, or 550mhz (275mhz FSB). I hav a bit to go yet before the mem is even OC'ed officially. I haven't heard of any issues with the OCZ DDR booster on the IC7 Max3. I'll let you know if I do.

Currently running a 2.4C @3.2. Have a DD kit I have yet to install so I'll see how far she can go
