Have you seen the blows those knuckle heads take in MMA fighting? Today I saw this dude just put his hands down and walk towards the opponent taking blow after blow as his face was pulverized. Humans are dumber than they seem.

it means that main development has finished and it has moved to the manufacturing stage (duplication and shipping)...they will still work on the game and most likely release a Day 1 patch but the game is in good enough condition to be released to the public

Yeah with patches these days it doesn't matter much. And most people get their games digitally anyways. It used to matter when patch distribution was decentralized and consoles couldn't get patches.

A game has "Gone Gold" when the final master copy has been produced at the developer and sent off for replication, packaging and shipment. The game is not yet released, but it will typically be around 2-3 weeks (sometimes less) before it begins appearing on store shelves and online pre-orders arriving at doorsteps. The term itself comes from the old practice of recordable CDs being manufactured with gold film. Hence the gold colored CD actually being the source, with no reference to copies sold as in the recording industry.
 
I don't like Harley's voice in this...sounded much better in the Arkham games...even Margot Robbie did a better job in the Suicide Squad movies

The six-issue comic Batman: Gotham Knights - Gilded City features Batman's last case before the start of the game, where the Dark Knight seemingly dies and leaves his city in the care of the Bat Family...

 
I refunded the game too risky I rather play the 500 other games I have.
Looking forward to Suicide Squad when that launches.
 
Looks really good but if I have the time to play it Suicide Squad is the game I really want.
 


Similarities and differences together: I'm a fan of the Arkham games and the Spiderman games so I am fairly confident I will be happy with this, too.

Yes, my RTX380 is also locked and loaded. ;)

the early previews didn't really have me all that excited to play this (Rocksteady's lack of involvement also was a turnoff) but the closer it gets to release the better things are sounding...the Court of Owls could be really interesting, the map looks bigger than any of the Arkham games, ray-traced reflections, more RPG elements etc...I'm now leaning towards buying this...could be another sleeper Batman game like Arkham Origins
 
I refunded a few weeks ago think it will be ok but one of those games you buy and play once. I have no idea if Matchmaking will be offered that might change everything.
 
I forgot this was even coming so soon. For some reason I thought this got lumped in with everything else bumped to 2023. At least I'll have a few new games to play this Fall/Winter.

Because in the era of digital downloads there's literally no reason unless you want the cosmetic bonuses.
 
Heroic Assault is an upcoming gameplay mode that is separate from the main story campaign. The standalone mode supports up to four players in online co-op and provides a dedicated arena-like environment with specific objectives to complete and enemies to defeat on each floor (30 floors total)

Heroic Assault will be available on November 29, 2022, as a free update for all Gotham Knights owners...

First, that makes no sense because most (virtually all) "cops" don't want to shoot anyone. Second, no one necessarily thinks you're a pedophile because your name references a fictional character that interacted with an underage girl combined with a near universal sign for pornography, but I'm sure one could make an inference using your own technique for analyzing forum handles.

Why don't we spend more time talking about Gotham Knights...

WB Montreal's Arkham Origins wasn't a terrible game. I can't imagine that this will be THAT bad.

Knight
Origins
City <--- Thought this one sucked

This game looks to be decent enough.
