I like how straightforward nvidia has made updating drivers. It used be you had to use driver cleaners and dig for beta drivers under a tertiary page. Happy they addressed vsync stutter too.

Good. Not sure why, but my driver kept crashing yesterday. I was really hoping it was the drivers and not the card. And that was the first time, other than when I was trying to find my Max OC. Hopefully this fixes whatever the issue was

Seriously, [H]? You've banned linking to ??

Go to www. geforce .com and you can download the drivers directly.

Was hoping these would show up soon. I didn't really like running off the leaked laptop drivers.

Finally we get some performance increase on the GTX 680. :D

Detail Settings & Results:

•Batman: Arkham City: 2560x1600, Very High detail level, Tessellation High, PhysX Off, FXAA Very High. Performance increased by 17.6% (17.1% with Tessellation and PhysX disabled, 9.7% with PhysX High, and 7.5% with both Tessellation High and PhysX High enabled simultaneously).
•Dragon Age 2: 2560x1600, max settings, 4xMSAA anti-aliasing. Performance increased by 12.4%.
•Lost Planet 2: 1920x1080, DirectX 11, max settings, 4xMSAA anti-aliasing. Performance increased by 4%.
•S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat: 2560x1600, DirectX 11, Extreme settings, 4xMSAA anti-aliasing. Performance increased by 9.6%, and by 9.8% when anti-aliasing was disabled.

Using a second GTX 680 in SLI, we measured gains of up to 5.8% in Batman: Arkham City, 15% in Dragon Age 2, and 6.4% in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat.

Sounds tasty, will try when I get home (although I don't really play any of those games in the list, lol).

Finally some 650m drivers. I have a feeling that I have Apple to thank for this.

edit: No go on m14x r2. Required a modified inf to install and then bluescreened on boot.

It looks like these finally bring support for mobile Kepler chips. I've got my fingers crossed.

the framerate option has disappeared from precision with these drivers so I cant even check the framerate now without using fraps.

3D 11 bench score runs smooth and increased by 98 pts. to 9400
now if Boarderlands runs as smoothly as the 301.72 laptop drivers could render

Um... the framerate option is showing in your picture? Or am I missing something?

the check mark beside it is grayed out and you cant select it.

EDIT: I restarted the computer and it now works so go figure.

Yeah, can't you just checkmark framerate? That's how it always looks with a fresh Afterburner or Precision install. Maybe the driver change reset a few options within the applications?

EDIT: Ok, well that blows then! (Posted just after you made your remark apparently)

I wonder when they are going to put the framerate limiter option in the Control Panel rather than requiring you to get all up in the driver's asshole with nV Inspector.

I guess, to be fair, I just use it globally anyway so it's a "set it and forget it" type thing.

Very cool. Glad that Vsync bug is finally getting ironed out. Ditto for performance boosts in Arkham City.
At first I giggled about Dragon Age II, but then again, that game runs like ass at high settings even on a monster of a machine. Luckily there probably aren't many people left playing it.

Oh, here's hoping that this driver will allow me to overclock my Zotac 580GTX factory overclocked card! Up until now, I've had to slow it to default 772MHz or the card would go to 2D speeds when a 3D app launched. Really looking forward to using my card's full potential again. :)

It's the little things :D

SLI profiles for games that aren't even out for months yet. This is one reason I'll stick with nVidia rather than AMD.

When most of these games are The way it's meant to be played a.k.a funded by nvidia and amd doesn't have access to these games. Then the coding is made to run better on nvidia and gimp the way amd runs code... i believe it's more than normal that amd doesn't have support for those games.

(Don't discount it entirely. What was that title that rendered invisible water under entire levels which Radeon cards didn't do very well with at the time?)

Anyways, gonna load this driver up as soon as I get home today. Sounds like it could be a golden beta driver.

these did not fix ANYTHING for me. it does not matter whether I use vsync, adaptive vsync, or a framerate cap because it still will NOT stay at 60fps. even standing still it continuously drops to 59 every few seconds in every game just like it did before. this did not happen on my gtx570.

Probably because your 670 is dropping a notch or two at 70C ... :D

lol, no.

I just got off the phone with newegg and they are going to give a full refund and even send me a pre paid shipping label. this is an inexcusable problem for these new cards and I am not going to be out 420 bucks to put up with issue like this.

Yeah, they haven't addressed a single issue that I've noticed since launch. There is the easily documented issue with vsync being broken in 3d. There is the performance issues in some games like GTA4 or Serious Sam 3 or most games in 3d.

I have run into the vsync issue but not in many games so it hasn't really been much of an issue to me thankfully. I'm annoyed by the other issues though.

That was Crysis 2, and it had nothing to do with TWIMTBP and everything to do with retarded developers.

I have yet to see any recent example of nVidia "cheating" with code in TWIMTBP games.

funded by nvidia is pushing it. a million dollar game getting thousands to put a logo on the box is not really funding
