Games you would like to see make a comeback...

A few more games come to mind:

Descent
One Must Fall 2097 (Apparently BG sucked)
Stargunner
Raptor: Call of the Shadows
 
They need to make a new Carmegedon with some of the amazing graphics so you can see all the bloody pedestrians, :D

Edit: just did a google and saw on IGN that they are making a new one. :crosses fingers:

As much of a Doom lover as I am (notice the name :cool: ), Doom 4 wouldn't work.

It'd be like making Diablo 3...what's the point?
 
For the people who keep saying Total Annihlation...Supreme Commander is going to be its sequel.

I would like to see a sequel to the Freespace series....hell I wish they would just rerelease Freespace 2 cause I lost my copy and the only ones for sell nowadays go for at least 40 bucks on ebay.
And Starcraft 2.
And a 2d sequel to worms.

Me too, I still play Descent 3 from time to time. In fact, I got my nick from the series.
 
Damn you guys all brought up a lot of good games that do need comebacks

Here's a few I'd really like to see:
The whole space-combat genre (seriously there's not much around these days)
LucasArts adventure games (Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Indiana Jones, Monkey Island, Sam and Max - I think they're doing episodes for this one)

Alien Vs Predator (Would be awesome in a new engine Doom 3 probably)
C&C (I know Tiberium Wars is coming, but maybe RA3 or Battlefield: C&C or something like that, just not a repeat of Renegade).
Dark Forces (The old-school one, where Katarn was a badass, even w/o a lightsaber)
Deus Ex (Either start over and re-do the first or eliminate DX:IW from history)
Dungeon Keeper
Fallout (Dunno if this even belongs here since it is in progress)
Freespace Series
Freelancer (It wasn't a real sim but was pretty fun)
Master of Orion (The third one was way too complex)
One Must Fall 2097

As a PC gamer I feel that both of those games are severely overrated. The only Square games I could ever get into were Front Mission but I don't think they're going to release those in the US anymore

That would be Bethesda, the guys that made the Elder Scrolls games (Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion). Hopefully they do a good job.

Day of the Tenticle with voice, but same gameplay. Actually any of the old lucas art games. Those were the best.

Any Clive Barker game would be totally awesome with today's technology.

- and Diablo 3, with graphics on par with Titan Quest.
 
you know with the amount of times i have seen Wing Commander on here you would think EA could bering that line back you know it would sell well
