I played what was, in hindsight, probably a really crappy hot wheels PC game when I was a kid. Just those screenshots were a shot of nostalgia.
On the note of the base game, the W10 version, is a steady 60fps just impossible at 4k? With a 1080 I get 50-56fps regardless of what I set the quality to... low and medium and high all perform the same. If I drop the resolution everything runs perfect.
That's the one. The outdoor playground map was my jam.
How'd you get it? I don't recall it being included in the Porsche pack.Ive been getting plenty of enjoyment from my Porsche 918 Spyder
Well shoot. Hope the 918 comes back around again. Not going to attempt auction house. The porsche pack is super weak. The only one i want from the pack is the 911 GT2 because you can put the RWB kit on it. The good ones are not part of it(or at least the porsche cars i like) The 918 was a 1 day only forzathon car on April 18th. The 959 was a normal forzathon car from April 21st - April 24th and the 911 964 Turbo 3.3 is in the forzathon from April 28th - May 1st.
i don't see the expansion on sale separately, only bundled. if you go to the fh3 store page see if theres an add-on button. if not maybe the stand alone add-on isn't available yet.How the hell do you actually buy the Hot Wheels expansion? I don't see it in the Windows Store anywhere.
^Not sure what I am doing wrong then. Only have a 1080, not a Ti like you, but even running at 1080p and Medium I get frequent drops below 60. Bumping it to 4k and Ultra or even High would be a nightmare.
Well, after getting everything up to date, the game just crashes to my dekstop every time I try to load my save. It's un-fucking-believable how abysmal Microsoft is as releasing games on their own operating system.
To Xbox it is...
try vsync off but limit to 60 fps if you can. should be steady and no tearing.
I know you resolved your issue, but also make sure that the NVCP setting for pre-rendered frames isn't overriding the application setting. No difference for me, between the 1 and 3 setting. Maybe it just doesn't like my combination of hardware (6600k, 16GB DDR4, 1080). I can put literally every setting to the lowest value and resolution at 1920x1080 and still get frequent dips below 60.
Have you tried Fast Sync?I don't have that option, just 30 or variable.
Forcing it from the nvidia control panel works though, think I finally have it stable and consistent at 4k ultra with vsync.
No, you're thinking of adaptive V-Sync. Fast Sync just displays frames as fast as the refresh rate on your display, but still allows the video card to render as fast as it can. The result is no tearing without the added input lag of V-Sync.I have not. Is that where it only applies vsync when above 60, and disables it when below?
I do still get a couple drops at 4k ultra, with the NVCP vsync, but nowhere near as often as when I had the in-game vsync enabled.
Yeah, don't play this game with a wheel.
