not sure if those Landing Knights are good for the FPU crunching we do ... forgot where I read but wasn't the mix 4 HT : 1 FPU ? Could be wrong, too. Still the count would help.
He's a Good guy that's has been crypto mining off and on the last few weeks. We have a Bigger Guy that's still mining (lucky for you folks) But hey it's still FUN
These stats are only updated so frequently and you have to have a verified unit within the update window which i believe was last updated at : 4/14/18 00:06:03 (UTC) [2 hour(s) ago] So based on the time of that you can go to the results statistics tab and sort on that machine, then filter on verfied units to see if you had one done at all and or prior to the update. {}
Keep in mind a number of these require at least 2 users to submit the same work unit with identical results before you get verified, so its not as soon as you submit it. They do this to make sure the work units results are more reliable.
I joined up yesterday, will let the machine run when I am not sleeping as the machine is in my bedroom and my room gets quite warm, was 83* in there when I woke up a couple of hours ago. {}
I talked to him earlier about only running half his processors which would be 16. His reply verifies that he's okay running 100% now. So all is well.
Just a few hours left, time to open up the doors on the bunkers, and switch out to some short running tasks like SmashChildhoodCancer or Microbiome Immunity Project!
That timing would be a bit off for the sprint given the time for validation. Worth trying if the bunker contain 2m points
Didn't get as much done as I wanted, but it looks like it would have made little difference anyway. my 3470 system rebooted at some point yesterday and BOINC didn't restart, and the USB wireless adapter I was using on another machine must have shit the bed sometime early yesterday as well
One of my 4P rigs died trying to get it ready for this sprint. Couldn't get it to boot the first two days and after I finally got it to boot into Linux it only ran for about a day before crashing again.
Hmm. i'm terrible with names . Looks like he isn't playing around with the last minute bunkers though. Anandtech is sitting in 5th spot overall for team points today.
I am waiting on 16 OET's to validate.. been waiting days now. I'll stick with NCM next time, even though OET gave a better return.
I don't think Pocatello can do that. Custom titles are a hot commodity here and only winners of DCotM and DCotY have been approved for changing them. Otherwise, the only person allowed to change someone's custom title is the man himself.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to the sprint! We can't win them all I guess ....... dammit. Well done to XS for coming 3rd across all the leagues! Even WCG sub projects that don't require a quorum need a warm up run on rigs that haven't run that particular sub project before. Before a host becomes 'trusted' it is limited on the number of tasks it can download and returned tasks are left in pending validation until a wingman has validated them. After a few of them have been validated, most new tasks from sub projects such SCC/OET are immediately validated with just occasional ones being set aside for a validation check.
Just weird that I have my very first ones waiting verification from days ago and I have ones from a few hours ago that are fine.
Sometimes when you click into the details for one like that you see someone else submitted and it failed validation for their result, or perhaps they held it too long and it missed deadline. In both of these scenarios it would be sent to a third person who may not even start it for a few days
I am actually still waiting one one wu that two other people have submitted bad results for now. I submitted this on on Mar 30th
auntjemima, the tasks crunched prior to the host becoming trusted stay in pending validation until a wingman comes along. As motqalden says, this can be for days especially during a sprint where people are scooping up too many tasks and then dumping them incomplete at the end of the sprint
