I swore we already had a thread for this, so I did a search and found a legendary post. Ironically it was in a news thread that "debunked" information that Fallout 4 would be based in Boston.

I've played NV and 4, I prefer the power armor on 4 and base building, but NV did some stuff better too.
3 is pretty old so I'd say you have to try it, the genre may not be for you. I always hated having to loot everything and dump it but figured out some ways to make that less painful. The missions outside of the main story are like any game, devote as much or as little time as you want they're time suckers.
Main glitch in 4 nowadays for me has been spinning body parts of dead enemies. Seen that several times. Oh and the game would randomly close.
This is a mod btw, I'm excited to give it a shot.
Yeah I was hyped big time before seeing it was a mod, even if it would've been buggy as hell being from Bethesda. Mod video looked promising though, who knows. That sucks this is just a mod and not a proper Bethesda title.
Update:
Ugh, don't say that. A buddy of mine just picked up F04 for the first time, has a thousand questions, and has been just enjoying rebuilding/fortifying Sanctuary with minimal exploration out of that.Do you mean to tell me I might be reinstalling my several hundred hours (at least) Fallout 4 AGAIN?!

I'll do a re re re re re-play through just for this.Fallout: London drops April 23.
- GOG will host Fallout: London, a fan-made expansion for Fallout 4.
- Fallout: London is too big to launch on the usual site, Nexus Mods.
- GOG is working to make Fallout: London playable for Fallout 4 players, regardless of where they bought the game.
Thanks for your input.Fallout London looks boring to me. I'll definitely be skipping it. Nothing to see here for me.
From what I've heard, they don't want Steam's DRM to interfere with the non-DRM scheme that the dev is trying to achieve, hence why GOG is the obvious choice.Wish they could do what Enderal did, release on Steam as a totally separate game. This also allows them to choose which exe (game version) is distributed, to avoid Bethesda's patch problems.
Dude you have almost 30k posts, most of which are pointless jabber. So I find your comment ironic you being a champion post spammer lol. Thanks for your input.
We - The Team - Have a new date, it is soon. Not typical "SoonTM" mod meme answer soon, but actually soon.
Just one more i to dot and one last t to cross and you'll all have Fallout: London in your greasy paws. Whereas before we were unknown when it was going to drop, now we are looking at a matter of days/weeks. Stay tuned.
"As Team Folon has now confirmed, Fallout London will be released in two versions. At launch, a version based on Fallout 4 Vanilla will be offered first. This decision is "due to the reaction of our fan community", the development team told PCGH. A further version based on the next-gen updates of Fallout 4 will then follow as soon as this is stable, they say"
'We've sent several builds over for Q&A testing now and are just waiting for the final Green. Nobody is to blame, red tape be red tape. We've done everything we can our side and we should have either an update or a mod for you to play soon. People seem to think Fallout: London is as easy as "just upload it" or "Just release it". We're not a Nexusmod and we can't just shove it out. There's multiple i's to dot and t's to cross.'
There has been a lot of speculation regarding our upcoming release, and we wanted to open up and clear the air for our core supporters.
The bottom line is that we've sent several builds over to GOG for QA testing and are waiting for the final green light.
Once they've completed the process of double-checking that Fallout: London and its installer work on all supported machines, we should be good to go. (Yes, we have our own installer, and downgrader too!)
It is in all of our interests that this final QA process is carried out in full, and we are very thankful that GOG is assisting.
While it may seem like not a lot is going on, we can assure you that the heads of the department have been working non-stop behind the scenes during this time to make the release build as good as it can be. The end is in sight.
Stay safe and remember. Mind the gap.
Green light have been given by GOG. The project is now back in our hands for the final stage.
It doesn't mean it's today (tomorrow doesn't look good either). It just means that it is back in our hands and no longer down to GOG. Since all the things we need to do our done on our side. You will not be waiting long at all. However since the last time I gave anything close to a specific date went down like the Hindenburg. I won't comment further.
I will also reiterate that we haven't done a full Discord announcement because the situation still hasn't changed - you don't have it in your hands yet. Please don't get over excited and no, journalists, you don't need to cover our automated bot message. When we have finalised things, the announcement will go up via the official u/TeamFOLON account. So sit tight it's coming Soon™.
For a start, GOG don't work weekends. And also.... who releases on a weekend.
It seems that Team Folon has "cut" Bethesda from the equation by utilizing a "downgrader" for the mod. So no matter the updates that Bethesda release for FO4, FO: London can keep trucking a long.Waiting for Bethesda to screw it up again in 3...2...1...
Team Folon have now fiddled with the workings and sent a Fallout London build to GOG for QA testing, which suggests that release is imminent. The catch, however, is that you will need to downgrade your copy of Fallout 4 to play the mod, because even with Team Folon's last-minute adjustments, Fallout 4 next gen and Fallout London simply don't get on.
As such, Fallout London will ship with its very own installer and downgrader. "GOG have been amazing through all of this," project lead Dean 'Prilladog' Carter explained on the game's Discord this week, via VG247. "To be honest, we've been the ones causing them the issue. What with us having things break due to the next-gen [update] and then needing the 3rd parties to update, then waiting for them to be fixed, only for the fact that at the 11th hour we've discovered that the next-gen [version of Fallout 4], even after updates, isn't stable enough and thus we are now going out on the old version - [hence] the need for a downgrader."
