Tale of Two Wastelands is a good start.
Damn it. This is making me tempted to fire up some old friends yet again.

The map is pretty cool. I remember doing that myself for the DC map in Fallout 3.Bunch of cool split screen wallpapers from the last trailer:

Since we're on a new page I'm gonna re-link the map post I found a few minutes ago:

October release, really? That seems REALLY sudden. I would take all that with a barrel full of salt.

I guess we'll keep seeing those posts until the E3 announcement, but... This game is being released in 2015, get over it.
That'd be awesome. Fallout 4 for my birthday? Yes please.
This game will launch on October 23rd.
Take that to the bank.

Hope it's a true "next gen" open world as Beth describes it.
Trailer doesnt garner much hope.

The older Fallout games are for sale on steam. I just got Fallout 3 based on the positive feedback here.

Imagine getting to explore every building in that pic. My back is straining from all the potential loot I'll have to carry.
I see several dirt / garbage piles on the roofs. I wonder if Bethesda hid a few trinkets in them... hmm...
Awesome! With a bit of modding work you can get Fallout 3 to look like these examples:

Is this game the second coming?
Seriously, I don't remember Fallout being this popular.
I feel as if there is someone standing next to me screaming in my ear every two seconds to pre-order. It's borderline ridiculous.
I think coop would be a great feature to add into this game tbh. I always wanted oblivion and skyrim to have coop, gotta start somewhere.
I highly recommend stepping through Gopher's guides when it comes to modding FO3/FONV. Followed them and it turned out perfectly. It'll take some time working through each one, but will be worth it.
