Diablo 3 Discussion Thread

A ton of legendaries today, but all so bad. 2 Cindercoat, 3 Hand Crossbows, 2 Sultans, Inquisitor, and a Strongarm.

I found a Nat's hat which was so bad I just gave it to a friend. It's not worth listing for the 200k it's worth. Without crit chance, Nat's hat is useless.

I suppose finding that crappy hat only balances out with finding the Inna's pants I mentioned earlier. 160 vita on those that gave me about 6.5k hp.

I got 45 million for mine which had 6% crit, 6% reduced damage, 200 str, and +armor. 60 for yours might be pushing your luck. I had to relist mine several times to get it to sell, and I know barbs like the + armor. Mine was over 600 armor rating.

What was the life% on yours?

When i search for 12% life and 201+ armor, cheapest buyout is 59mil, non buyout bids (that are currently being bid on) is in the high 30s.I guess 5.5 crit doesnt mean much. It looks like if people are gonna pay high end, they'll want max crit too.

10%. It was the only non-perfect roll on mine.

If I'm not mistaken, Breath is playing HC and Harkamus SC... hence the disparity between the price.

+1

I had 300 MF at one point... then switched to no MF (just paragon, nephalem v.) and noticed 0 difference in drops (they sucked regardless)

no MF = more kills, more drops, more chance of something less shitty dropping

On the flip side of the coin, my barb buddy last night decided to run full MF. He was somewhere over 400% and found 3 legendaries in one key run on MP4.

I found 2 legendaries in a single key run with about 235% MF so here's your RNG fun :p

I have no idea with DH ;D

I just sold a Sun Keeper for 5 million, so I think I may have put it a bit too low(sold quite quickly). It didn't seem that great, or maybe my wand was just that much better

That's a really nice quiver! I don't know if anyone uses Entangling Shot, but otherwise the rest of it is pretty nice. Attack Speed @20% has to be at the cap or close to it. Congrats on the drop!

Yea that's indeed a nice quiver. Not sure how much it's worth, but i know that my DH buddy uses entangling shot for kiting.

Couple million. 20% is max. The crit is 1% from max. The dex roll is somewhat mid range. You should still get a few million. Look up DMLs with similar stats and sort by price. Then price it accordingly.

I put it up for 50 mil. Let's see if anyone bites xD

It seems nice, but I really have no idea about DH. I really have no clue about anything except that you want crit hit chance/crit damage on things like rings :D

Just found 8/8/31 trifecta gloves with 60 str, 72 int and 54 arcane res. Should be a few million right there.

Must be nice to be finding something. I am pushing 300% MF on MP3 and have found 1 legendary and 1 set item since 1.05 dropped.

Sucks.

I just found like 5 legendaries within 2 siegebreaker to azmo runs.

Paragon 12-14(I was upper 12 and now barely 14 :D)

in the same boat. It averages about 1 legendary over 3-5 hours a day. Kind of Sucks. I think blizzard is out against DH's. I'm Paragon 21.

Jesus. Im a 20 and I get a legend once every 6 Bridge to Az run either solo or public. I got a good set of Zun trail 3 days ago so I shouldn't complain much. Still only at 38k DPS, badly need a new weap and some crit.

Well, I had at least 10 runs where I got no legendary at all. It seems they decided to just give them to me all at once :D

Found a Tal's hat. Prob sells like crap. I don't know much about them, other than I never see people wearing them. I'm guessing few hundred thou at best, which means I'm salvaging the thing.

What's your paragon level? Just curious.

I am sitting at 11 right now.. I know its low but with the gear additions I have it should be as bad as it has been.

How fast can you kill though? That factors in a lot in my experience. I've doubled my elite kill count since 1.0.5 hit. I was paragon 12 when I started playing again in 1.0.5. I'm close to paragon 48. My elite kill count is close to 27k now. About 19-20k elite kills are on my main. I started clearing mp1 with about 40k damage on my monk. Took maybe 40 minutes. I'm down to 25-30 min in mp2. I use a different route now than when I started though, but the route maximizes both XP and elite packs.

I decided to spend a mil on my Monk (22k dps ftl) and killed Azmodan with 2 stacks on MP1. He dropped Zunimassa's Trail. Encouraged by this I spent 2 mil on my DH and went into Whimseyshire. 2nd mob dropped Ivory Tower. Bolstered by this string of events I hopped on my Mage and killed MP3 Azmodan with 2 stacks. All blues. Walked past a pot on my way to logging out, clicked it, and got a legendary Monk fist weapon.

If the fist is a WKL with an open socket and innate crit...money!

If you've got a set of gear that makes your MF high (200-300%) , then you will probably want to stay at mp0 @ Act 3, or mp1 @ act 1/2 . Kill speed is more of a factor than you think. Even if you say "hey, i can kill stuff pretty fast at higher MP" or "let me just bump the MP up one because of the 25% extra magic find" , you can kill even faster that a low MP level. The speed and efficiency of killing mobs is what will ultimately land you some legendaries.

To an extent. My kill speed at 2 is the same as my kill speed at 0, things are basically insta gibbed. There is more of a bottleneck with my 24% run speed than my killing factor. I think i could bump it up to maybe 4 with little impact on my kill speed once i get LS weapon so I dont have to worry about DS anymore.

Whatever level you can insta-kill the enemies is most likely the most efficient.

I have no idea with DH ;D

I am a level 37 paragon DH and I just paid 51 million gold for a Deadman's Legacy with:

+111 STR
+289 DEX
+188 VIT
Attack Speed Increased by 20%
Hatred Regen 1.32
Critical Chance 9.0%
Multishot Critical 4%

It was listed at 30 million originally. You may have to relist your item.

Found three crappy legendaries in the same run. A Windforce (that makes 3 so far), a Stormcrow (also probably the third one I found), and the frog Witch Doc mojo.

I just want to add that I was able to fix my stuttering problem by disabling real time scanning with Microsoft Security Essentials. Apparently the game only preloads very little into the RAM and loads most things on the fly from your hard disk.

My wizard is about 330k buffed. It used to be a lot higher before the nerfs to mitigation skills and when I had some more mitigation on my gear, but I've since gotten LoH and LS to deal with the changing landscape of MP levels.

I wonder if diabloprogress accounts for the inherent 30% damage reduction for melee. I kind of doubt it because they use those numbers as some kind of scoring metric too. You can look at your stats through d3up or something for a better idea of your overall EHP (including any buffs).

My barb has an EHP of 1,170,215 unbuffed. Guess I should swap some vit for damage.

Just found an IK hat which is worth from a few million to a lot of millions. I'm not done with the run so I haven't IDed yet. I sold one for 18 million and another for 40-50 million.

So has this thread become your blog that you keep minimized and update whenever you find an item in-game?

Although it's not as big an issue as it used to be, there were far more people posting about not getting jack shit than people who've gotten a mentionable find. It's good to remind people that the game isn't some conspiracy to force you to use the AH, though there's really no excuse to whine at this point.

I didn't get anything good lately myself, but I just recently got a decently-rolled, strength-based Witching Hour. It's a 17k dps boost even for my Wizard lol. Crossing my fingers in hopes for a big sale. :D

It's a thread where lots of us share what we've found on our daily runs. And like Yoshi said, it's also somewhat showing that this patch actually has improved drops dramatically, but if people take offense I'll stop. Didn't think of it like that til you mentioned it. heh. Apologies.
