I'm definitely in, but hope they don't focus too much on raytracing or anything else that requires proprietary Nvidia features.

Must say it looks gritty, I can handle a graphics downgrade if the game play is like this trailer.
Was I the only one who thought the trailer looked a bit juvenile and my interest level waned a bit on this title after the trailer???
A bit disappointed by the release date, thinking it would be closer to late Q3 or Q4 2019, but if its equal or better as The Witcher 3, it will be worth it.
I hate to disagree vehemently because while I do believe the developers at CDPR are sweet and truly lovely people, consider that the Pyramids in Egypt, the local Amazon Fulfillment Center, or any of the world wonders -- none of that shit got built by giving workers afternoons off for pony rides and candy.Honestly though if it means they aren't being slave drivers and working people 130 hours a week to "crunch" and finish the game I'm fine with putting off the launch a few months.

If we awaken to news one morning that CDPR employees are worked 20 hours a day, 7 days a week and sleep under their desks with shock collars on a timer, I will weep for them, but not too long because immediately I will rejoice that I'll be sitting in my underwear and socks, surrounded by Oreos stacked like poker chips and playing Cyberpunk 2077 that much sooner. Maybe even weeks sooner.
Collectors edition stuff:
Release date: April 16, 2020
Years ago i had high hopes for open world games as we was playing stupid little maps in most games, now that it is here i cant really get myself to try one.
I have a intense dislike for all the battle royale games too, though i have never played any of them as much as 1 seconds, it just seem to off-putting for me.
Another thing i have waited for a long long time are random generated ( smallish ) maps in multiplayer games, but now i fear that if that ever get here i will not like that either, or most likely i will be worm food long before that happen.
What's wrong with open world games?
Yeah i don't really get it, in the old days the idea of a much larger map supporting more players, and also not knowing every Sq CM of the map sounded so cool.
I have a sneaky feeling that now it is due to the new multiplayer formats like battle royale i cant warp my old head around, really i seem stuck at TDM or CTF game modes, where CTF have always been the mode i liked the most.
Of course other factors like a progression tree in multiplayer unlocking more skills and weapons are a turn off for me, and not forgetting in game buys of some shi,,,,, stuff.
Really anything more than a rocket jump and my mind start to go into a infinite loop, so jet packs and ninja running on walls ASO just on the face of it turn me off.
Also pressing some button to run ???? i want to tag a always run option in the menu and be done with it, and i don't want to run out of breath or have a low health bar also meaning i move slow.
I was able to deal with non realistic weapons when i played a lot, and the realism game of the day ( CS ) never did much for me due to the map issue ( same maps ) and not least the having to buy stuff and wait for the game to end if you got killed early on.
Really i just want to spawn and find weapons on the map, and then run and gun with fun for XX minutes.
But i think with my new GFX card i will get soon maybe i get some games i can try, or i will have to go "F" it and just take a chance and buy some game that don't look like it have too many of what i imagine to be bad things and see what happen.
O it was. i played like 6 - 8 hours every day after work for a few years and slept even less every day,and i was in top 50 ranking worldwide most of the time, but that is also close to a half a lifetime ago ( no it was not pong or on the Amiga 500 )
No doubt age also have a say, and while i do think i am open minded, maybe not with all things when it come down to it.
PS. the game i played the most and really started my gaming multiplayer was Soldier of Fortune, as i recall based on the quake 2 engine
PPS. As you age your perception if time and other things get weird, it was of course not 26 years ago i played soldier of fortune, but 26 X 2 + some are my age, and things just start to act weird and be relative at this age,,,, at least for me it do.
I don't think i will ever frag that hard again, though i now am on early retirement / pension and so could theoretically frag for +12 Hours a day.

I don´t know what that is , or if I want to know.
E3 cinematic snakeoil...when will sheeple learn?
Ja, pretty sad that this is the #1 selling game on Steam right now. I thought the PC community was supposed to be adamant about not preordering games, and this one doesn't come out for another 10 months! It's not like they're going to run out of digital copies. But but but muhhhhhhhh pre-order!

The thing is that I think not just as people who play games, but also people in general... CD Project Red has created a hell of a lot of good faith with the gaming community and people WANT to support them.
You should read up on what CDPR said about that and how they will do stuff in the future before stuffing your foot further into your mouth

Probably going with GoG too for that reasonGoG pre-ordered.
"100% of your money goes to CD Projekt Group"
Totally bogus.Trailer looks good to me, one of the few developers left that deserves some sort of excitement.
FYI, looks like no collector's edition for PC in the US

Frag as in kill opponent was very much true for Soldier of Fortune back in the day, the game was actually banned in some countries due to its level of blood and frag,,,ments of body parts.
