Yea, its getting pretty depressing.. This block seems to have made about 1/3 of the people to pull their miners elsewhere, possibly premanently.. 5.6mil Shares in and only 20Ghash..
Fuck..This...Block...
It better be Magic and have like 150 BTC in it, lol
I don't think it was the block as much as the downtime. That said, this round is just painful.
Is pps better?
Done. You haz botnet on ur systemz. All ur gigahesh r berong to meI vote you should build a 10+GHash machine for emergency block finding..![]()
Btcguild starting pps.
So that means no fees right?
BTC Guild has ALWAYS been no fees.
Sorry, I'll leave 1.2GH/s on Simplecoin out of the sympathy for the pain the rest of you guys are going through but coupled with the huge drop in value, most of my miners are at BTC Guild for now.
You sure you dont wanna just drop em all there until we finish this block from hell
Im sure more people than just I would appreciate it.
Kardon said pps is more consistent but has higher transaction fees. I was stating that btcguild is starting pps. And there free. So no fees right?
Either way I just looked at the pps for btcguild and it's 7% fees. yeesh.
Did someone just buy up all the BTC up to 7$ or was that a series of erroneous trades?
On another note. This is the kind of business that will go a long way in making bitcoins a good alternative to fiat currencies: http://cheaperinbitcoins.com
The site name explains it all. Buy things at a lower price simply because the transaction is in bitcoins.
Here's a good example: http://cheaperinbitcoins.com/product.php?productId=2512
ASUS 5850 for only 13.8 bitcoins. At current prices that's $89.7 for a brand new 5850,
or an ASUS 5870 for 25.3 bitcoins ($164.45) http://cheaperinbitcoins.com/product.php?productId=2513
I don't think anyone can beat those prices. Though you might want to verify they have them in stock since the site is pretty new.
I only mine on deepbit... hm... maybe i should contemplate switching?
Well, those deals went down the shitter. They're adjusting their prices daily now.
Yup! Bought about 25000BTC, then set a $75000 bid wall at $6.77...which is now gone!
forum is down / not loading. Can you summarize?
Somebody at bitcointalk said the same thing.well, this is bullshit
I had sales set for 11.98 and 12.49 that did not execute
fishy
Going to keep my coins in my wallet until we get a steady $10+
Looks forward to the difficulty drop coming up, I'm happy with the steady 1.5+ BTC a day I'm getting from BTCguild.
how are you getting 1.5 a day... what cards you have mining?
how are you getting 1.5 a day... what cards you have mining?
It's not hard. I'm getting 3 BTC per day but it's all diminishing returns as the price has halved since the beginning of summer.
Currently have 7 6950/6970's but they have not been tweaked to reach their full potential. I will have 9 running soon.
You're getting 3 BTC a day at simplecoin? or is that what you were getting at btcguild?
