Battlefield 6

Does anyone know what the procedure is after the beta, can the beta be deleted or can the beta remain? So that I don't delete the game data if I buy the game later?

I am pretty sure your beta progress is saved online. No need to keep it once it is done.
What if I buy the game through an EA account? My EA account is linked to Steam, but EA doesn't recognize the beta at all, it offers me to download it.The beta is on Steam

Played last night, and holy cow the spawn campers, as soon as I spawned at the base there were several enemies ready and waiting from different sides shooting me. At one point I probably died 10 times in less than 5 minutes.

Am I just an old guy now, but I can't seem to last without dying in this game for me than a couple minutes at the most.

On the EA app they are separate products at least. My guess is the data is wiped, but you keep your rewards as those should be linked to your EA account.

You guys encounter cheaters? pretty big thread on Steam.
Only once and the match was cancelled. Other than that I haven't seen anyone that was blatantly cheating. Could of course be really bad players that toggle, but their game sense and movement is so bad that they can't take advantage of the cheats. Getting triple and quad kills quite fast is very doable for people with decent aim and mechanical skills.

Doesn't seem to be much SBMM though as there are a lot of bad players in the games I get put in, but also some quite good ones. Basically most of the time half the server is pure cannon fodder and the other half can play.

So far everything has been 100% stable without Afterburner, but now I'm having crashes with MSI Afterburner, something is not stable, and I've been digging around in my memory, so now it's crashing.
Interesting. Been using MSI AB for both beta's and I get 0 crashes. TBH I dont think I have had 1 crash at all.

I've had some instances that were suspect, they are getting in, question is just how many.

I see a lot of people camping and just waiting for someone to run by too, there is just too many places to hide, one reason why I prefer larger maps. So if you can't beat them join them, I just set up in the rubble and hammer them with the LMG while going for the objective, reviving who I can. It's basically the only way I can play these maps with more than half my left hand being crippled.

I guess I missed the first one, but they sent out surveys this time so may want to check your emails if you didn't see it. I am guessing like most betas they aren't that worried about feedback since it is just two questions. The first is just about playing more BF6 with multiple choice and the other is a tiny box for comments.

This was pretty much the bulk of my experience since I tend to play Dom and King of the Hill where it doesn't let you choose spawn. I don't remember BF4 or earlier working like this for DOM. It seems to just dump you in random sections of the map with fighting rather than with your side out of the action. There doesn't seem to be any spawn protection either.

Finished, beta uninstalled, could be a very good game.
Someone said it right. For those who won't buy, at least offer one free map on the servers, conquest large with 64 players, which would be constantly spinning.
It's too much for me because of the new modern hardware and peripherals and because I'm cpu bound, but if they offered a free demo, it would be worth buying a new cpu.
This BF6 seems like a mix of everything to me, it reminds me of almost all previous sequels.
I didn't have any crashes in the beta, except for glitches and the like. Only later did I have crashes with MSI Afterburner, but that's obviously because my gpu is either not stable or my ddr4 was not stable because I was playing with latencies. And it's possible that my mbo and cpu couldn't keep up with the memory and gpu.
Third, as far as I've figured out, you can take any weapon from any other class. Each class has a lot of gadgets. How good it is, I have no idea.
I tried the most engineer, then assault, then a little support and very little recon. For all the current maps in the beta, the assault rifle is the best in my opinion, because they are all fast. In BF1, I loved the assault and medic classes, the weapons were well balanced.

You’ll spend money on a new CPU for a free demo with one map but not a full game? Makes no sense lol.

I think I am also done for the night. Game is dope af and I will definitely buy it on release. I had a great time with it. Graphics are top notch, gunplay is top notch and destruction is much better. I actually got some kills by destroying buildings which was hilarious. Overall, I give this a solid 8/10.
It is leagues better than 2042 IMO.

Is this game giving CPU a workout? I am usually around 50% usage in this one.
I've gone up to 80% usage on a 9950X3D with both 2 CCDs allowed. With only one CCD (vcache) 90%, it very much uses SMT. I mean even older DICE titles used HT and SMT just fine.

Of course that's with low settings and DLSS since the game looks bland anyway and I like high frames in pvp games. (reducing some settings does reduce CPU load so there are lot of frames to be gained on low)

Sometimes you just need a push or an excuse. It isn't like the CPU only works for BF. BF used to always be my excuse to build something new.

Seems like he likes the game enough to want a lifetime demo playing the same map over and over again. Having $70 invested into the full game seems like a nice push so you can play it properly.

Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see demos make a come back too but “please release a demo so I can buy a cpu” still doesn’t make sense.

Yep! Built a whole new rig for BF4, below is the copy & paste from my Newegg order in March 2014. Only regerts in the build was the FX-8350 and Thermaltake PSU that I replaced with a EVGA modular PSU but overall it did its job and then some! The Powercolor 280X Radeon came with a free BF4 coupon which was really nice.

Best game so far, most of that was in a tank/IFV. I still think their approach to vehicles is wrong. They feel like an after thought, and vehicle vs vehicle combat is lame due to map design. I still am not sure if armor matters. In BF3/4 you did a lot more damage from the rear. Seems like that isn't a thing anymore? Hard to tell with constant repairs. Vehicle on vehicle kills almost never happen. Also, no vehicle customization in the beta. Will it be in the main game?

Yeah the infantry part is good but the vehicle parts of the game needs a lot of work.

Yeah Ive noticed this, no matter where I hit the tanks with RPG's its the same amount of damage. Hopefully its an older build for the beta and they've addressed this come full release.

Crappy screenshot but my squad somehow got to the roofs which is an exploit I hope they fix by launch. I only went along with them because our team was losing. Probably because we were on the roof and not taking caps :dead:

On a side note I did similar shit with MAV riding in BF3 but that was eventually fixed.

It seems one hit and the tanks are toast, a RPG shouldn’t kill a tank when hitting the frontal armor. Whichever it is they don’t last long.

Huh, usually takes me 3-4 rockets to kill a tank? Been using engineer 95% of the time too.

"Seems" is the key word, I was in a tank and it seemed it took one hit to the frontal armor and blew up, could've of been mines also.

Only the chopper can one hit a tank. IIRC it takes at least 4 RPG hits to kill full health a tank.

Your AAA slop is about to get even sloppier. Not happy with the included maps, modes, weapon balance, etc. EA has you covered.....just wait 12 months to slap down another $70 and maybe you will get lucky with a marginally better product, but if not just wait another 12 months after that.

Played my last game for the BF6 open-beta and its been great but was getting burned out by the few maps available so I'm looking forward to the launch with the full maps, weapons, vehicles and moar!

Oh, and I'm just gonna say it... Game of the FUCKING Year!!

It doesn't surprise me, it'll become just more COD garbage. BF6 is okay, I'm still on the fence about buying it, which wont happen until it's been fully reviewed and I can get it for $50 or less. It does remind me of COD at times, which I'm not thrilled about. I'm 57 soon to be 58, I'm on the downhill side of gaming and PC building, what I see coming out these days is mostly broken games, poor graphics, bugs, poor design, yet prices jumping to $70 or more.

No clue if the yearly rumour is true, but the map size concern is very legit. If they can't show a single big map in the beta, it stinks. They have NEVER done that before. One large map minimum was always included.
That's the thing...

Most of the maps so far hardly fit a tank, and there isn't that classic sence of pacing and scale. It's like all the maps are set to their 24-player boundaries, but the larger expanded area outside the boundary doesn't exist...

Current maps feel like 24-32p maps yep. (Empire State is probably a 16 though)

I would know because in BF3/4 days we had such maps too, and admins often set them to 64p making it exactly as chaotic as we see now.
