I was kicked from a server where I was the commander and I was giving the locations of all the bad guys. Admin's reason, spamming. So let me get this straight, a guy is sneaking around the outside of the map to take flags from the rear and no one response to the commanders warning that there is a guy about the rape us from behind.
 
In origin it says i have BF2 Armored Fury. Is that the full BF2 game with all expansion packs?

That's one of the expansions which are now free anyways. I have armored fury and euro force in Origin as well...carried over from the old EA DLM.
 
There is no way of telling how much time I spent playing Counter-Strike.

I just got perma banned from like the only decent Vietnam server for "hacking".

Lol i have honestly never had such continual fun on one map before. I must have played Metro for 11 hours, and 10 of those in the Park, and i honestly could load it up and play it for another 11hrs..hell another 100hrs. I cant imagine what their new maps will be like, let alone the re-made BF2 maps, oh god i look forward too those. Freaking love BF3.
 
There was a dev tweet awhile back that said the beta would be conquest, and would not be metro. Now if it has jets/choppers in it remains to be seen.
 
Good to hear that we will get a taste of good ole BF conquest in the beta. Metro isnt bad but the park section started getting bored for me after 10-11 straight hours of it. The subway sections are outstanding though.
 
They managed to have jets in the browser-based Battlefield Play4Free. They should be able to manage it for a beta.

Anyone recommend a good joystick or is just keyboard and mouse good enough for the flying you think?

I just checked Origin's preorder package and it doesnt include the "SPECACT kit" or Dog Tag Pack like the UK. Though unlike the UK pre-order, Origin's gets early beta access....not sure if thats quite the fair trade off though...
 
Wasn't there already a big firestorm over UK only perks that they then rolled out to everyone due to the stink? Now they're doing it again, wtf?

Nope, I gave up and just ordered anyway.... if it shows up I'll try to get them to adjust the order.

I hate those skins. Half the time I either nearly (or do) shoot teammates because they look a bit darker, or I freeze for a split second when an enemy SPECACT comes up because he looks kinda like my team. Of course I'm also severely colorblind, so perhaps it's just me. :(
 
Well it's been past 48hrs now since signup of EA Gun Club and still no 25% off coupon. I'll keep ya posted, hopefully it comes, I want to preorder on Origin and get BETA access.

I read it the same as you did. MoH buyers just got the shaft. Not that they were promised exclusive early access, however...

Yes we did get the shaft and it's bullshit. We were supposed to get early access to the beta. As in before anyone else not the same as anyone who ALSO pre orders the game.

What happens if the beta is a clusterfuck and the servers cant handle the load and nobody really get to play for that 48 hours? will they push back the 48 hours?

Somebody on the internet told me that Gun Club discount off coupon program expired July 31st.

The difference is that he paid full price for a really bad game, and we are going to pay full price for BF3, and get a really good game. :)
