Someone asked me yesterday about the 980Ti vs 780 in this game because of the upgrade I was doing.

Long/short: Epic rape even with the game's quirks. Laughable and in the best way possible.

A good 40 fps improvement across the boards with same settings as before: Cap at 60, vsync off, 1920x1200 everything maxed out. (Yes, I'm looking at a monitor upgrade at some point in the near future but that's OT.)

Anything I run into now I know will be the game's problem like other people. So far I seem to have been on the more fortunate side of that coin vs some of the more hair pulling stories I've seen but I'm also pretty early into things so we shall see what happens.
 
Running great here everything is maxed with 980 sli , I set max_fps to 144 and vsync off also turned off the grainy effect and blur as well as bloom. I have been playing for few hours and looks/runs great :).

Nice! Well... can we talk about the game play, instead of the graphics performance?

I hate to say it but Rocksteady would be suffering a lot more through this if the game were cracked. :rolleyes:
 
Man, absolutely nothing I can do as far as a refund, since I got this as a code with my new video card. Getting a free game definitely factored into my purchase (hey, who doesn't like extra perks? :p) and getting a broken game sucks.

It's fun. If you have played the previous Batman Arkham games you should know what to expect.

I bought mine through GMG and I'm going to go by their guideline on potential refund.
 
I wonder if GabeN is activating Jason Bourne this moment with new assignment, while sending him a picture of WB HQ over the phone.
I would like to see refund numbers for this game, they must be pretty pissed right now.

Game looks awesome has the same feel as the pervious Batman games graphics are so good you can't even tell your playing a game. Didn't see any tearing on my 144hz monitor I didn't run Fraps I suppose I can try that.

Yeah it's locked at 30 with fraps....
 
I'm using Precision X, but i'll check that out tomorrow with MSI A. It's possible people are making shit up at this point to keep the train rolling :confused:

how did you turn off the grainy effect?
 
I just checked it with afterburner. With the top two nvidia options on, No OSD with Afterburner. With the top two nvidia options off, OSD shows up in Afterburner.

Now here is the weird thing...I have no major stuttering when all nvidia options are on. It runs very well at 30-35 FPS on average. Just an rare stutter every now and then. But when I turn the nvidia options off, I get much better average framerates around 55-58, but I get more stuttering. So it looks like something weird is going on if the nvidia options are off.

Edit: this is just me running the PC performance test in the options not playing the game.

So what's the biggest issue with the game. It just doesn't run smoothly?

how about you head to steams batman page and have a look ? its just too much to list the game is just a broken mess worst part its a shity console port and its not even made by rocksteady its some unknown company galled iron galaxy a real mess nothing else....:mad:

If nothing else, a nice replacement replacement for "Hitler reacts to.." which, let's be honest, was a little fucking stale.
 
I have a feeling this is going to be known as "2015 - year of the refund, gamers revenge". I don't think publishers are ready for the shitstorm that is coming.

-Add the rain effect on the models, different models and textures were missing from the console version, textures are now working better.
-Fixed the GCPD Sewers elevator stuck in wrong state when backtracking to the area.
-Add SSAO HBAO+, FXAA SMAA MSAA, TXAA support, and many other graphical settings.
-Now the high res textures are working again.
-Immediately acquiring concussion detonator after using batwing now saves objective when fast traveling later.
-Fixed animation crash using invalid texture’s unused memory.
-On rare occasions, Batman would only have 1 health after restarting after title autosaves. This should no longer happen.
-Greatly improve the collisions, for a proper new-gen experience.
