Shoulda printed one with fuzzy walls to catch all that wonderful dead flesh in its gripThat's weird.
I can already see clumps of dead skin in my mind lol.
I was wanting a P1S as well but got in the K2 preorder for a great deal with the AMS. Hopefully not a bad purchase...My old and tired JGmaker finally bit the dust. It was my first printer and was forced to learn a lot on it but I’m so over the hobby printer scene and wanted something that I can spend more time doing engineering and less time tinkering and calibrating.
Been eyeing up the P1S for a while and decided to pull the trigger on an X1 on an impulse. Super stoked to get it
I was going to get one of these but ended up getting in on the K2 Plus preorder a few months ago... if it sucks Ill probably sell it to the next sucker and get a P1S.Feeling cute, might stop at MC and pick up a P1S combo

Get that instead. Same grip with with the lower temps but is also rated for ABS. Or get the Sliceworx dipped plate. Same stuff but name brand tax.
Since my first 3D printer, before printing, I use a light coat of Aqua net (or equivalent) hair spray. Glue sticks are also common. I assume your having this problem with ABS? PLA is pretty forgiving but can act up.Has anyone with a Bambu printer had an issue with the print not sticking to a section of a build plate?
It really doesn't matter the material. For some reason on the left side of the plate, doesn't matter what side, it doesn't stick. Could it be a heating issue with the plate?Since my first 3D printer, before printing, I use a light coat of Aqua net (or equivalent) hair spray. Glue sticks are also common. Maybe take the p[late to the sink and giver it a good washing with dish soap, dry it out and try again. Good luck.
Could be. Try giving it a good wash, and if that doesn't work a different plate. It really doesn't matter the material. For some reason on the left side of the plate, doesn't matter what side, it doesn't stick. Could it be a heating issue with the plate?
100%Good wash of the plate with dish soap and water (rinse it obviously) should solve it
Not surprised. Bambu has always wanted to lock people in.
I've had minimal issues on my X1C with inland PETG+, though I rarely use PETG since I can find ABS cheaper and it prints better in my experience.Does anyone have an issue with using non-bambu PETG filament and printing with it? I get the Inland PETG+ filament from Microcenter and I kept getting print failures up until I (finally) added Inland to the custom filament list and put the bed temp to 80° C and also used a crap load of stick glue. Once I did that, the PETG+ prints great. I am using a lot of the material because I am printing under desk wire management from 3 desks at home.
It's all been bed adhesion on that first layer. With the stick glue, I slowed the initial layer to 125mm/s and every other layer to 150mm/s. Travel speed between spots for the head was at 500 so I took it down to 250mm/s. Honestly slowing things down doesn't bother me and once it's past the first layer I usually let it go and have it go over night.I've had minimal issues on my X1C with inland PETG+, though I rarely use PETG since I can find ABS cheaper and it prints better in my experience.
Are you having bed adhesion issues or issues during printing? I use a cheap third party textured PEI plate and I do usually have to increase the bed temp over what it recommends for good adhesion. I've had some filaments over the years that just don't like sticking to my PEI sheet consistently. The stock hot / cold plates + glue have never given me issues but its a pain to deal with when printing a lot of plates.
If you're having issues during printing you might try slowing things down or using a filament heater. Also make sure your filament is dry.
