All I could think of was that the bolt opening and closing didn't match the shell ejection at all.

The absolute madmen did it. Four true, content heavy, story-continuing expansions. I spoke to many who didn't think it would happen, but "Soviet Bioshock" has brought it home as intended and, assuming they keep the quality all the way through and give a satisfying end, will put them in a fantastic position for the future. Atomic Heart II and The Cube both take place in this continuity after all, so this isn't the end of the story . I can only hope they're getting enough support for the next titles to be equal or preferably even better, taking what they learned from this one and moving forward.

Edit: One other neat thing about Atomic Heart is their inclusion of Russian folk/pop/rock songs, with both modern(ish) and reinterpretations of traditional songs. As you can hear in the background of the Blood on Crystal expansion trailer above, they cycle continues as each expansion brings new vocal music too!
