Atomic Heart

so there's one more story DLC left?...hopefully by the time it's released ray tracing will also be out of beta (but something tells me it's going to stay in beta)

Yes. Who knows when, they seem to be really making these take a while. Game will be 2 years old in a few days, so quite the delayed DLC release. I assume another quarter or two for the final DLC. That being said the 3rd DLC looks quite good, I want to play them all back to back.

does it matter in which order you play the DLC's?

I think the first DLC happens after the main story. 2nd one got negative reviews. 3rd one seems to be well received, I have not played any. I am waiting to do them all together, or at least that is the plan.

I guess DLC 3 is really good the 1st two not so much. There is no level cap you can start it whenever.

I wonder how long till we get a deep discount on this game and all the DLCs.

Was $31 with all expansions (including unreleased ones) on Steam multiple times already. More or less $20 for the game, $11-12 for the four expansions.

Hm, I'll keep an eye out. I think it's currently $35 for everything on Humble store right now.

I picked this up the complete edition see how good it is since I don't think it' going to go free to play on Epic anytime soon.

This game is so werid lol but it looks amazingly good I haven't seen this much buzz around my character since Racket and Clank PS5 version.
Update: played some more to where you have to solve some puzzles this game is more like Bioshock. I have some pretty good nausea from the game too someone said to disable camera shake but I think it's just the way you pan around might be FOV too. A Steam poster said to Bring Camera shake down to .2 from .8 then I changed the FOV just below 100 that might of been my problem. Damn upgrade machine talking it to me like it wants me stupid Ai.

Sale is back on at Steam if you didn't buy it yet. $31.50 for the game and seasons pass. The $35 version just come with 2 gold weapon skins and a digital art book, so probably not worth it for most people.
I actually just picked it up when I saw that come through - thanks!

this was supposed to be one of the best looking ray traced games out there...I'm going to take a guess and say that an Ultimate or GOTY Edition will be released sometime down the road with a major RT upgrade (something like Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition)...maybe even with a path tracing upgrade...I think when the game was first released the GPU hardware at the time couldn't handle it so they nerfed the RT effects

This looks great, but I think Cyberpunk 2077 has better RT. But I'm just glad RT is getting used more, I'm finding that (when well done) I really like the improvements to immersion.

Ditto.

This was on Game Pass, and I assume that factors in. Seems to be the trend to say "players" rather than sales these days. Nevertheless, 10 million is not bad. Probably at least a few million in sales.

How many stayed interested to finish it?

Me. One of the best single player shooters over the last few years. Not a hard bar to achieve these days though.

Really. I tried to get into it but it was tedium ad nausem. I even bought it once it exited gamepass and it is still backlogged.

It had flaws, but I thought it was a good game. Maybe even extremely good if they ever managed to clean up some of the performance issues. I played the launch version (or something pretty close to launch version) all the way to the end. I thought it was a 7.5 back then, but it lost a point because performance was so bad in the forest areas.
With all the new DLC, I wouldn't mind revisiting it. The catch with DLC releasing like this is that I've long forgotten everything about the controls, plot, etc. so I'd have 0 idea what's even going on, though. I recall the game being pretty damn long, so I'd have to start all over.

Agreed and why I am disappointed the DLC is taking so long. We're over 2 years post release. As long as the DLC has hints I should be fine but otherwise I don't know the controls/gameplay. Performance was great for me, one of the best games I've played over the last few years. What did annoy me is it locked back tracking frequently but I think that had to do with performance. Probably would de-load areas once you progress a bit.

to be fair they have released 3 story DLC's...only one more left

Maybe they'll pull a Rockfish / Everspace 2 and update the engine. I'm mostly kidding, I don't think anyone saw that coming.

Back on sale on Steam. $29.69 for the game + 4 expansions. Sale lasts until June 16.

What I don't like is the seasons pass alone is $27.99. Or if you buy the 3 released expansions, it is $25 and you'll still need to buy the 4th. Would've been nice if those that own the main game got a bigger discount on the expansions.
