Is it just me or is the whole hot deals section cooling off over the past few weeks...maybe building up to black friday, though it's aweful early to start that. Or it could just be a sign of impending economic collapse. There's a few warm items in the Fry's ad, but not anything I would call hot.

Haven't seen anyone discuss the maximum (under load) temperatures for the C2D procs in this forum yet. What would you suggest as an upper limit? I've ran a P4 northwood as high as 61°C under load for extended periods without any ill effects. I doubt that would be reasonable for the C2D.
