Vista B2- activation fails after first reboot

Ok, so I d/l ed and installed vista beta 2. first time I reboot, I get the "Activate Windows now" message, with several options. When I try to activate online, after some time, get the error message "activation failed".
I had the nic up and running before i restarted. Everything worked fine (except sound of course). Dunno why it won't activate.
Any1 else have this prob? How'd u fix it?

Had to format and reinstall. Then before rebooting, went in to control panel and did product activation. Now activated and got everything working.

If anyone else has this problem, you might consider just biting the bullet and reinstalling. I spent 3x as much time trying to figure out how to get it to activate from the pre-os load activate now screen than I would have needed to just reinstall.

I used the same key, btw, some have posted that you should use a different one- but same one worked for me.
