I have a Windows Server 2003 server whose host name and domain are entered in all upper-case like this: IMA-SERVER.DOMAIN.COM however when I do NSLOOKUP with the IP address it returns ima-server.domain.com (all lower case). I have an Oracle application that according to Oracle is having...
Running Server 2008, Hyper-V and VMM 2008.
I will be hosting 16 virtual machines and each of them needs a modem hooked up for a specific process to run. The modems don't actually have to do anything, just be present. I will not be hooking up phone lines or anything. I would also prefer...
I have filled up 6 racks at work over the last 6 months and have come to realize that cable management sucks. My biggest issue is the power cables being too long. I have been installing Dell 1950's and 2950's and end up with a huge bunch of power cables hanging around.
Has anybody found...
I will hijack this thread as it is on-topic and doesn't need it's own.:D
What are thoughts on going from an A64 - 4000 to an X2 4200? I mainly surf the web, do some video, DVR etc and some gaming. I am not going to do an all out upgrade for a while and want to stick with my 939 and...
As the title says, I am looking for suggestions on a wireless headset with a built in mic for gaming. I did a search and did not find anything.
Thanks!
What chipset does he have, and is he using Raid?
Reason I ask is that I could not boot using Raid, but I am running fine with my two disks individually. I have read that my issue has to do with nForce 4 drivers...
I am having an issue when I install my Novatell Wireless Merlin S720 into the PCMCIA slot in my laptop (HP NC8230) I get a blue screen. The bluescreen does not show an error, it is blank. I have the Vista driver from sprint.com/downloads. I am running Vista business. Any ideas?
HP has not...
So the free gift aside, any difference between the processors that I should be concerned with? Why make two identical procs with two different model numbers?
So I am going to pull the trigger on a A64 3700+, but what is the difference between these two:

We all knew going into it that very few if any of us would get the deal, and we all knew their servers would get bogged down. :o
I am in the same boat at the moment and came here to post a similar thread. I would be upgrading from a 6800OC. I play BF2 mainly right now.
Thanks in advance.
Soo many threads about the MX1000 and gaming, I've used the MX1000 pretty much ever since the day it came out. The mouse rocks, I don't ever notice any lag in games.
I thought the screen shots for the game looked pretty sweet, but gamespot.com gave it a mediocore score:

Has anybody played this game yet, I am looking for some opinions before I drop $30 on it.

I use the D-Link DI624. It is rock solid with the exception that if a torrent gets cut off I lose connection all together. Reset the router and all is fine. Gaming on it is no problem at all, I use 108MBp/s wireless cards in both of my PC's and laptop.
This isn't the same game, but along the same lines. I have Sim City 3000 and it runs perfectly on my AMD rig but locks up about every 15 seconds on my P4 rig (see sig). I have tried different compatibility modes on my P4 but no difference. I assume it is a DX issue, any ideas?
I have been using an MX1000 since October and have NEVER noticed any issues with gaming. Take it for what it's worth but that is my personal experience.
