I just got my corsair 1300 today.
Took me a while to figure out how to get the surround system working with my realtek 898 and THX Studio Pro, but as soon as i did, wow it is fantastic!!!
Batman and BF3 are like different games now.
Obviously I cannot compare and say this is better then a...
I think because it is a super popular board and the more who buy it many more users out there, so higher chance of seeing someone post something.
Mine has been rock solid stable for 2+ weeks now, no complaints at all.
That might be, I think I installed all the drivers that came with the CD except for the Lucid MVP stuff, did not even bother with it.
I don't have any USB 3.0 device though to test. The only USB devices I am using is my standard mouse/keyboard.
Yeah I was doing a comparison and the Realtek 898 comes with Creative X-Fi fidelity M2 software including THX Studio Pro
I am just going to go with the Corsair 1300 analog and if it does not sound good then I guess I will add a sound card.
Thanks everyone!
I have been running UD5H for about 2 weeks now since Ivy was released along with i5 3570k in it and it has been rock solid stable on BIOS F6, no issues whatsoever, no lockups, freezes or anything.
I am extremely happy with this board I would say it is one of the best I have used in a really...
To be honest it not the price of the soundcard, I just did not want to worry about another piece of hardware especailly if i already got onboard.
I would rather go the USB route if the onboard will not cut it.
But I really only use this machine for games, no movies, or music, so really trying...
So I recently upgraded to a Z77 that has Realtek 898 on board and heard the 898 is one of the best onboard audio.
I only care about audio for gaming and was looking to get a headset with mic.
From what I have been reading if you don't have a dedicated sound card, you should get a USB one...
yeah from what i read on multiple forums ASUS RMA is the worst out of all the mobo manufacutreres.

Take a look at all those negative reviews from RMA.
I don't get how they are the Top mobo. I am looking at either Gigabyte or MSI for my next mobo.
probably a combination of this

and supply and demand for being a new card
Mine finally shipped from EVGA should be here in a few days.
Is the reason such shortage because something to do with yields of 28nm? I read something about that a few days ago.
Only reason I want to go EVGA is can do cross shipping, don't think galaxy can do that.
I have some time to wait it out...I am not building my system until end of April when ivy is released so for now if I do get the card great...but it will be bottlenecked by my E8400..LOL
Anyone order from Tigerdirect before?
I see they have a few cards in, but is it really in stock? Will they just take my money and hold it for a while?
Has anyone who ordered from Tigerdirect got the card? Was it shipped properly in good packaging?
When did you order it?
I noticed the EVGA on newegg still out of stock but price went back down to $499.99
Hoping that means there is an influx of them now
I am really hoping newegg or evga gets it in stock so I don't have to pay tax, I originally budgeted $500 for video card, that will put me closer to $600 with tax.
Man so fast
Is it always like this with a brand new card?
Last time I bought a card was 4 years ago I think and was gtx 260
How long do you guys think before it will be readily available?
Thanks for the suggestion of the X6 Elite
I think I will go with that one, watching video looked so easy to install and seems to perform well enough for me and not super expensive.
Which one you would recommend that is very easy to install for someone who has large hands?
This will be for a i2500k or maybe one of the new ivy bridge.
A lot of them look very difficult, and I am not planning on overclocking a lot.
Any recommendations?
Interesting I tried placing an order last night at newegg, it went through, but an instant later I got an email saying out of stock. I wonder if my credit card got charged.
Anyone know the best settings to use in terms of brightness/contrast and color?
I just got this recently and it is amazing, but out of the box it is so bright after a while hurts my eyes.
Is there a good calibration software tool out there?
