Whats the difference between the 350 and the 350se (besides the red paint and accents on the wheels)
the descriptions on the website are exactly the same, but the red "SE" costs 200 more
Woot, just got my silver v5 no ODD slot!
Ordered 11/19, shipped 11/26 from Taiwan, landed on my door in WA state 11/30. Totally thought it was a amazon package from BF/CM sales, LOL.
Now the wait for Kaby Lake
If you are on v54, revert to v53. There has been alot of problems with v54, especially on linux.

Backhand Win10 & tell it to shut the hell up w/ https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10, Bahaha
Does most of that, but i mainly use it to keep the update system from screwing over my week long projects from completing.
i use the 49" JS9000 samsung, and do alot coding. its great, but i also have used 2 of the 3 27" ASUS PQ278 (2560x1440) monitors in a P-L-P setup, so i can have web browsers, discord, skype, and a video player open to distract me from work on those outter monitors.
make sure you put it into theater mode before you set it on the charger. I have a nasty orange burn-in mark in a arc around the watch from the charge indicator. If your not going to wear it for an extended period of time leave it off the charger, i got battery swell and it popped the back...
The one linked from the Microsoft store does not include the Master Chief and Spartan Locke statues, only the Earth Guardian. "Limited vs Limited Collectors"
The stock stand wont let me raise them up enough to get the panels to line up. The size of the panels on the 48 & the 27's (on end) are within 1/8in of each other. The DPI is off, but i mainly snap a web browser in each while i'm coding in the middle. I'll grab some left over table top and...
i had this in another thread, but i figured yall get a kick out of it here.
48js9000 + 2 PB278Q running off a pair of 290x's until i either the hdmi 2.0 active adapter come to market (doubtful) or a pair of 980ti's get back in stock at my usual etailers.
omg this monitor is coding heaven!
48" Curved flanked by 2x 27" 1440 monitors, absolutely perfect for me, like it a lot more than the 3x 27" i was using before.
This being run off a pair of 290x's. So im curious about these adapters, but if they delay coming to market, i will grab a pair of 980ti's when they are a little more...
After some of the glowing reviews of the js9000, i picked up a 48" today, after i plugged it in, i set UHD color, and changed the input to PC, and i was up and going in less than 5 mins. Looks amazing, i kept putting off 4k, and using a TV as a monitor after trying a seiki 40" that looked...
I had the exact same problem as Rizen, and i did the same upgrade to solve the problem.
Shoved an old pair of waterblocked gtx580's back on the BigBang as a secondary machine.
Yup, probably the "Pin #20" problem. Some cable manufactures just connect all 20 pins from 1 end to the other, when pin 20 is supposed to be not connected.
Ive run into this same problem. Amazon (thru kindle) would work, but they have a piss poor selection. Zinio and Google Play were the only ones i could get my ImagineFX, and 3D World magazines through. But i use an iPad, GalaxyTabPro, and a Surface, so i choose Zinio, which is crossplatform.
i recently replaced my Dell U3011. I wanted a second monitor, but i wanted matching monitors. I was considering going 4K, but what killed it for me was the afforable ones were TN, and the nicer ones with the IPS/IGZO screens, had TCONs that did the tiled display thing. On top of that...
Its an issue with the controller board in the monitor. Dell went with the 30hz one, to either be first to market, or save a few bucks.
Also, Firmware updates or drivers will not give you 60hz @ 4k on a Seiki, it just allows 120hz @ 1080p on the 39" model, instead of frame skipping.
i did a little looking around at different forums talking about the problem. Seems like displayport carries power through PIN 20 in the cable. Some cheaper cables just carry all 20 pins though, instead of NOT having PIN/wire 20 disconnected. So power goes in the wrong direction and confuses...
Everytime i see someone with this type of problem, especially with "unplug + plug back in the power", it always turns out to be DisplayPort related. Then it turns into a debate of monitor firmware vs gpu driver.
Happens to me when plugging my Dell U3011 -> Macbook Pro.
When i ran Win7, i had to disable Aero to get the lag to stop. I have since upgraded to Win8.1, and i did not have to change anything, and it ran just as well as Win7 did with aero disabled.
I sent in a flawless iPhone4, and they emailed me back saying sorry we cant give you like new condition, will you accept $xxx for acceptable condition (which was like a 1/3 of the price). I had them send it back to me, and i walked into a bestbuy, and got $5 more than the amazon like new...
if your thinking about matx, how about holding out a little bit for a Fractal Node 804? its a 5-slotter so you can have a space in-between the cards to breathe in a sli/crossfire setup
Its like a cleaner, matx version of the Air540
I have a Drobo 5N, and i just picked up a Synology DS214se to test the waters to see if i want to upgrade to a 8bay Synology.
Both units i have used Transmission on to download torrents, and both have Plex server apps, and do an excellent job serving video files to my Roku3. Although...
i tried the 50" firmware, lost the audio out from the 3.5mm jack. flashed back to the 39" firmware until my coaxial->optical adapter comes in for my sound bar.
10.9 on my iMac & MBPr was plug and play. Used the Accel active mdp adapter, and 30hz came right up. only issue i had was vsync lag on 10.8.
what are you using for an HDMI adapter?
i just stumbled across this thread.
I originally had a i7-950 & a Big Bang Xpower. I had problems with my GTX580SLI + 6 DIMM moduals. It would take 10+mins to boot, and everything would be super sluggish, and glitchy. Moving to a beta BIOS from the mdi forums cleared it all up.
Recently i...
200mm rad in the top is going to be a tough trick, if you look at the stock fan thats there, it pass through a opening in the motherboard tray. you going to have to hack it up good to be able to fit a rad+fan up there.
your rear rad idea should be ok, but the 2 hi flow fans in the front are...
