Did you have that desk on Craigslist recently? I emailed you not too long ago about it. I like the TV shelf idea. I mentioned as much in the email. I also asked if you would sell and ship the leg extension parts to Kentucky.
I never heard back from you so I assumed that was a no.
I still...
I bought a Das. I love it, and had not had any troubles with 120+ wpm errors as far as I can tell, although I may have encountered the issue and assumed it was my fingers rather than the keyboard. I wish it was not glossy. It's so hard to keep clean. I think I may sell this keyboard and try out...
Whelp I ended up spending $65 x 2 swivel shelves for my Jerker. And UPS tells me they shipped it to Amazon... The guy tells me I have to contact the shipper and have him file a tracer on the package. I have no idea what that would do for me, but I emailed the guy.
Anybody work for UPS who can...
What would you all recommend for lighting my Jerker up? My dad got jealous of my Jerker and went to Ikea in Westchester, Ohio to see what he could see. All I brought back was a Tertial lamp. Completely failed to get the 11w bulb for it, but for that price for just 2, I could get 10 at Graybar...
I'm pretty good with tools, I had a woodworking class in the 7th grade. I'd like to build something similar to what Ikea had for their shelves without the swivel if I don't necessarily need it, but I don't think I'm good at metalworking just yet.
A bend here and a hole there might take care...
I'm moving my computer (Antec 1200, soon to be a Lian-Li PC-P80) to the side of my desk. It won't fit on top of my new Jerker. Any suggestions to raise it up off the carpet? I can't find any of the addon shelves, unless someone here wishes to sell theirs. Please? :)
Without those shelves...
I just moved. I had a neat desk before, dark gray with a glass top. I got it at OfficeMax or someplace. It was flimsy and cheap. But then the other day my dad was wrapping it up so it didn't get busted up in the moving truck and I heard a crash and "Oops!" I went to see what happened and was...
Ah, I see. I tried pulling the top off, but it's harder than it looks. I'll have to disassemble the whole thing just to get this heatsink off.
Oh well, in a few weeks I'm planning to buy a new P80 and a fully modular PSU. Once I have the time to sit down and work on cabling, I'll have to post...
Thanks, that will have to be the route I take once I can pay for it. I'll be happy if I can just make all 6 drives span a single cable without extra cable getting in the way of everything else.
I'm planning to buy a new Lian Li P80 along with the PSU so I can't do any measurements until then...
I see what you mean. For sake of safety, would it be wisest to just have two cables with one 8pin and one 6pin, or could I get away with a cable with two 8pins and a cable with two 6pins? It'd be the difference between 18.75A across each or 25A across one and 12.5 across the other. Common sense...
I'm looking into buying a new Silverstone DA1000. It's got a single 12v rail rated at 80A.
One thing I've always wanted to do was make my own modular cables for a PSU, at the exact specific lengths to reach from point A to point B, no more and no less.
One thing in particular I worry about...

Can something similar to this concept be used? I'm assuming the best option would be to split the signal going from the switch to the motherboard into two somehow. I'm not going to pretend to be...
When all I had was 2gb I turned it off. Photoshop was just fine until I started getting into it, and then Mr Pagefile popped his head in. It's automatically reenabled when you absolutely need it.
Now that I have 12gb, I turn it off and I haven't seen it since.
I have noted a noticeable...
You may want to try a PXE boot solution. Boot all computers through the network, instruct the PXE boot image to resize the partitions. It'll only work if the NIC supports such a thing, which is usually true. If not, you'll need to make a bootable disk (floppy, cd, usb, etc) to get the process...
