When I first put it together I used a GTX 1070 for a few months while deciding which gpu to buy and looking for a deal. System ran...

I'm looking for a 32" or bigger IPS 144Hz monitor at 1440p. I was figuring 2560x1440 because although I upgraded my rig recently I reused an older 1070 GTX. I have 3600X/x570/16GB 3200/1TB NVMe
I 'm worried my rig...
Hisense is the best available budget TV imho. The Hisense is better than comparable Samsung and Sony in the $800 to $1,100 range. The TCL R625 is pretty close but the Hisense is better in motion handling, has a wider color gamut and is the only 120Htz panel in this pricing segment. The colors...

Yeah I guess Newegg didn't have that many at that price. I did check it just before posting and the link was going to newegg on GE but I guess when it sold out it then went to BB

Duh, cant believe I didn't even notice case was mini. The 2600/mobo combo was such a great deal at 210, I just thought it would help future proof it for a year or two. A 450 ITX and the 2600 still showing about 200 on parts picker. Did find 3200 mem for same price though...
So I got a nephew that really wants a PC. He wants to build it and it would be his first. He has saved about $400 and he is only 14. He's a really good kid and his parents aren't poor but are lower middle class. I'm looking to help him out a little. I really dont think you can do a decent...
Newegg has AMD Ryzen 5 2600 3.4GHz 6-Core Processor (YD2600BBAFBOX) + ASUS Prime X570-P AM4 ATX Motherboard + 3-Months Xbox Game Pass on sale for $209.99. Shipping is $3.86
Nice for a decent starter machine.
Deal has expired, but it comes and goes. I know someone who bought it awhile back at same price
Motherboard = ASRock B450M/AC
GPU = ZOTAC GAMING Nvidia GTX 1660 6GB GDDR5
WiFi = Intel 802.11 ac
Case = Thermaltake H200 TG RGB, Snow
Memory = Single stick 16GB DDR4 3000MHz
Power Supply = Unbranded
Thing about build is if you ever get the 2% of defective memory or motherboard and end up spending 10+ hours troubleshooting...that's when something like this really
AMD Ryzen 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor
16GB DDR4 RAM
500GB Solid State Drive w/ 3D NAND
Nvidia GTX 1660 6GB GDDR5 Graphics
RGB Fans
802.11AC Wi-Fi
500W Power Supply
Windows 10 Home 64-bit
It's like getting free assembly and windows. Seems like a solid mid range to me

I got the 1TB of this and it is smoking fast. I use the a lot of the space for video editing.
Was curious if there's a great benefit to have your games on M.2 with OS or will the run just as well on an SSD or spinning HD?
Maybe not as fast as the Evo pro or MicroCenter drives but in real world use it's very unlikely you would ever notice. I got this a month or so back for $95 and put it in a new i5 NUC, no complaints, excellent performance.
I've heard quite a bit about inland drives but have never owned one. I'm gonna use it in a NUC and will have some work related stuff that may only get backed up weekly so dependability is more important to me than speed. The Evos have been the king for awhile, but way overpriced accordingly...

I use one as a media server in a bedroom running Kodi. I got to think it would run faster with more ram. Also I want to setup one running piehole and my understanding is it would run much better with more ram, maybe even using a single unit for vpn server and piehole.
I'm no expert, just a...
