I'm playing through this right now and am loving it. I don't really like how the ranks for missions are determined only by the speed in which you beat them. I normally just run my scout through the entire level, kill the guys by the flag, and capture it in two turns.

I'd play through the orignal before the first expansion, but there are very few references back to the orginal so it doesn't really matter. I prefered the orginal to the expansion pack. The new expansion looks really good.
