7 months so far with the 37W1 (old model)
Love it very much. Only 2 issues: 1 stuck pixel on green near the left border, and backlight buzzing. The buzz is weird because where it stops buzzing changes on a daily basis. Sometimes it will stop buzzing at 40 brightness, sometimes 60 - but not...
4 year service plan means you have 4 years coverage. It does kick in after manufacturer's warranty, but that only means it's effective years 2-4
Just another way that they're being misleading. PSP date should be on your receipt anyway, to let you know when it expires.
Anybody above able to run power saving mode over the HDMI?
Extremetech's review claims that if Windows goes to power save mode (monitor off), the 24 inch Westy just turns blue instead of turning off
Are the current ones still like that?
Don't know where in the US is good for buying it (heard audioadvisor.com thrown around once), I got mine from Futureshop...

Just went through the last 20 pages, wow that's a lot of Westinghouse owners here. Too bad the 37W3 was never available in Canada... and was a pain and a half to get one if we wanted one, so I had to settle.
Clockwise from the bottom:

No question the 37 inch is the way to go.
A 27 inch is the same res as the 24, so it's out.
I came from a 21 inch 1600x1200 Samsung. Considered the upgrade to the 24, but it ended up being too small of an increase. Went up to a 37, now THAT felt like an upgrade, despite the same res...
Own a W1, and unless I'm blind, I'm pretty sure there's no cable hookup. Doesn't even come with HDMI.
But works well over DVI, which is all that really matters to me
I find it amusing how just a few years ago when 16 ms panels were coming out, all reviews were stating how they saw 'no ghosting' compared to the 25 ms panels at the time. As faster panels came out, suddenly those 16 ms panels had motion blur so bad you would throw up and how 12 ms was so much...
I will like to add that the 37W3 is not available in Canada, and Best Buy Canada has no intention of carrying it at all (whereas the 37W1 is a regularly stocked item at BBYC) - to get one you must get it through the US and have it shipped to Point Roberts/Blaine/Buffalo or any other border town.
