In both of my machines I am using a 90% distilled water to 10% antifreeze ratio.
I am using the blue antifreeze w/ blue uv dye in my gaming rig and in my wife's is the new orange antifreeze with red uv dye, which kinda turned it a little pinkish red, which she really wanted in the first...
If you get one of the bay res. with multiple ports in the back you won't have to drill any extra holes. There are single bay res that have 4 ports in the back. That would allow you to have a inlet, outlet, fill-port, drain-port. You would want to put the inlet and fill port on one side and...
GoodGod, from what you said about the res, you are wanting to do what I am going to do with my res and a fill-port. You can pick up an acrylic bay-res that has more than 2 ports. The dual 5.25 bay res (the one I went with) has 6 ports in the back. I think the single 5.25 bay version has 4...
I went through two of those pumps, first died under a year of use and the second just became to unreliable and loud. Never again. They are pretty good for the first few months, quiet, reliable, etc. After that the pump became unreliable. When I unplugged it and replugged it back in, for...
I used a few zip ties to secure my rad in my stacker. Its a single 120, but its centered and won't move. If i remember correctly I used three zip ties hooked together on the top and three on the bottom. That way it won't move and it will be really easy to take out when I get time to redo the...
Its looking pretty good. Can't wait to see what you do next. Do you have a pic of the drive bay?
Got another idea for ya. You could put a green rectangle bar around the window so it looks like the label.
Epikz, you should get the jager tap handle from that site and try and incorporate it into the mod. Maybe some sort of switch.
You could also get those bottle stoppers and put them on the top of the case so it kinda resembles that machine. Of course use empty jager bottles on them. That...
Thanks for the quick reply Kid8. I think I'll try the Yate-loons and see how they do in a pull.
Sexual Chocolate -- From what I have read pulling is better than pushing air through because when the fans are in a push environment the air gets backed up due to the restrictive blades in the...
I am buying a BIP3 from Directron, can't pass up the price, and wanted to know what would be the best fans go get for it. I'm going to put it into a CM Stacker and am thinking of getting 3 Yate-loons from Jab-tech to put on it.
So with that said, here are my questions...
1. Will three of...
Have you tried unplugging all the components involved from each other and then waiting a few minutes and then plugging them back in? Of course unplug the PSU first before you unplug anything else.
Have you tried plugging the CCFLs into a different channel on the lightbus? If a different...
The lightbus should handle multiple CCFLs as long as their inverters are on seperate channels. From what Sunbeams site says, each channel's output voltage is 0V - 12V. I have two 12" UV CCFLs on one channel and going to put 2 4" UV CCFLs on a different channel and maybe get two 12" Blue CCFLs on...
You could put a small CCFL or some LEDs on the bottom of your case. What case do u have, maybe a few pics might help us come up w/ some ideas.
I bought a lightbus as well, but not exactly sure how I want to use it yet in my CM Stacker. I might put some LEDs or CCFLs behind the bay covers and...
Thanks for the quick replies. I will give the MCR-220 a shot. I think all I will have to move is the HDD which is in the 4-in-3 rack right now.
Thanks again all.

I've decided to get a dual 120 rad and have looking at the Swiftech MCR-220 and the BIP2. I'm leaning toward the BIP2 right now.
I will be putting it into a CM Stacker at the bottom of the bays. The rest of the loop consists of a Storm, MCP-655, and MCW-55 and a res using 7/16 masterkleer...
I think I will try the CoolRad and see how it does. If it does infact have problems cooling the water, then I will move it to my wife's system and get a dual rad.
Thank you all for helping me with this dilemma.

I overclocked it to a 3000+ without voltage adjustments. Right now I am using this rad. I might try and OC it to a 3200+, which I have done in the past, but it wasn't supper stable. It would run fine for a few hours and then crash. So I backed it off to the 3000+ setting and its been running...
I want to upgrade my CPU block from a Swiftech 5000-A to the Storm and was wondering if a single 120 rad will be sufficient for the storm on a 2800+ XP. I will probly add the MCW55 to the loop which will go on a 9600XT. The case I have right now isn't huge and I wanted to try and fit...
I recieved both of mine about a week ago. The text is very clear and man are they bright. As far as gaming goes, I've only played JKA and COD on it and both passed with flying colors after a few small adjustments in the game. I had to adjust the ingame brightness cause it was still set for my...
I have the same router and its dropping the wireless a lot. I'm interested in moding my router as well. For some reason the images you posted are not showing up so can you explain what you did to boost your wireless and make it stable? I would still like to take a look at your images as well.
Just ordered 2. Going from 21" trinitron CRTs to these. Hopefully I'll get them by the weekend so I can get some time playing BIA, JKA, and COD on it.
Thanks for all the info so far and the link.
I would say FedEx. Every package that I have gotten from FedEx has been delivered around the same time of day (noon). I like that so I don't have to take off work, just use my lunch hour to wait for them to drop it off. They automatically set your package aside for pickup each day that the...
I went to BB's site and looked at the drive and they only have a $70 MIR listed on the HDD's page. Is there another $20 MIR that isn't listed, or possibly an instore only rebate?
If you decide to use the Mirage paint, make sure you don't sand between the mid-coat layers. If you do you will fubar the paint job and will have to start all the way over.
Follow the process that linear described in the link above post.
I tried PMing at CC before and they said that since Staples' price of the Router (including IR and MIR) was the same price of thier's (including 2 MIRs) that they wouldn't PM it, even though Staples had an out the door price that was lower than CC's out the door price.
So with that said...
