Haven't had that yet. The biggest and most annoying bug I've had is revive just not working anymore.

Because tanks?!
Couldnt stand the squids in BF1 that sat in a vehicle all game, run the scoreboard, yet the second they get out the tank they cant shoot someone standing still..
Im pretty impressed with what ive played this weekend, feels like a kick in the right direction that the BF series needed.
He just wants to walk in and ROFLPwn everyone. The game has been lacking the biggest counter to tanks the last 2 iterations so people have just gotten used to that mentality: Attack choppers.
I'm so glad they made it so you have to resupply for ammo and not that casual infinite ammo crap. All this game needs is the commanders again to direct squads to bring it back to the original days, there are way too many people right now that just leave capture points immediately right after capping them instead of contesting it when the enemy squad roles back around.
Pointing out problems with the game is a good thing, if done correctly and in the right place. The bombers are one thing that the devs already know need to be balanced. So expect that in a future patch. And now in BFv dice seen fit to give bombers a laser guided 3rd person bomb sight so fucking tanks in the ass (and just about anything else that moves) is easier than ever.
Battlefield 1 had plenty of counters to tanks, the main one being planes with a tank hunter kit. Those were total bastards and more often than not if one spotted you, then you were fucked and there wasn't much if anything you could do about it. 2 hits from its main cannon and a bomb drop all in one pass took out any tank.

That video says it all, and that's just on the first loadout, the bomber is capable of carrying much heavier bombs.
and the maps that didn't have planes?
Right, but properly outfitted AA will wreck a bomber. Not to mention you can tow a guy with a flak cannon.
I ran around on that big wrecked bridge map with a Valentine and my buddy on a flak cannon I was towing behind me and we were obliterating anything that showed up on our half of the map.
yet with all that it was pretty easy for me to go 20-1 in a tank. You had at rocket guns, tank mines, anti tank grenades, k bullets, tank gewehr elite's, other opposing tanks. Not exactly a lack of options.
yet with all that it was pretty easy for me to go 20-1 in a tank.
yeah but the fast movement speed of the tanks, fast turret speed, and unlimited ammo made takes more OP than I think they were in previous battlefields. I think something had to be changed with this bf.Depends entirely on the team you go up against and if the teams have any degree of balance or are heavily stacked.

Ya tanks. I play in Saudi Arabia with a cell phone internet connection to European servers. I physically can't compete with other players due to the lag and packet loss in FPS mode. Besides, FPS mode IMO PUBG is much better. Tanks are nice because I'm damn good at armor play. I was like the top 0.01% in BF3 armor play. But they went crazy in how bad they made armor in BFV. No fun = no play.
Depends a lot on the aircraft, fighter planes are easy enough to take down, bombers can take a lot more of a kicking. The AA valentine is pretty good at dealing out damage to bombers, but as yet not a lot of people have those.
No fun = no play.
New patch coming tomorrow. 23gb
According to this 1.5gb
Not sure where you're getting 23 gigs from?
To be fair this is more of an issue with you - not the game. Eventually a shit internet connection was going to fail you.
Just like anything else it depends on playstyle with tanks.
I agree on a few things. The bombers are ridiculous. They definitely need to be toned down in some kind of way. The videos of players racking up 80+ kills in one round just proves this. They obliterate just about anything that moves with carpet bombing. Ammo in tanks is definitely very limited. I don't mind going back for a re-supply. But there needs to be more re-supply sites. Or at least areas where re-supplies could be built via fortifications.
Also don't expect to be able to push objectives with a tank and be in the forefront. Most objectives are in areas surrounded by hiding places such as buildings. A tank will get flanked horribly by rockets/explosives/grenades. Unless a squad goes in and clears every single building, it's just a bad idea. It's much better to hang back and allow armor to provide support. Away from hiding places. A good place where you can get an overview of the objective and wipe out any enemies trying to flank the squad taking the objective. I have had great luck in armor by doing this. I've actually gone some rounds never dying in a tank and having to go back several times for ammo, which gets a little old.
Well no shit. They're turning BF into a service. People whined about Premium/Seasons passes and whatnot, and people who didn't want silly customization were "on the wrong side of history". Whatever fad takes hold in the next 6-12 months will shape BFV. The game you get today may be entirely different a year from now. They're scrape to the bottom of the barrel to milk a few cents out of it. This is immeasurably worse than paying a little more for a lot of content that is designed around the game. But that is the state of modern multiplayer gaming sadly.
There are frame pacing issues according to TPU and G3D. Also looks like there is no difference in performance between the reflection quality settings. 60'ish FPS with a Ti at 1920x1080, 20'ish at 4K.Can anyone provide feedback on how Ray Tracing is working for them on DX12? It's active now with the latest drivers and patch.

With ray tracing. And this was expected. You missed the meme train by 2 months.1080P LOL! I'm sorry but if people are still playing these games at 1080P in 2018 they are doing something wrong....
That being said...this is sad if at 4k it can only manage 20 ish FPS on a 2080Ti....

I tried the trial for about 3 hours. In its current state this game isn't for me.
I hate digging through the menus for unlocks. It seems like I have to wait for things to load. Then I click something, but oh it was changing in the background so I picked the wrong thing.
I hate the playlist/matchmaking model. While yes there is a server browser, you are still stuck with servers running a playlist. I joined a domination server only to get thrown into a Team Deathmatch round. I quit and tried again only to find myself in a frontlines match. This also means people will just quit when the match starts and they see the map isn't one they want to play. There is no word on when or if server rentals will be making an appearance or if it will be improved in anyway from the limitations of BF1.
I don't love any of the current maps or at least the ones I have seen. Fighting indoors in cities was a nice change in BF3 and BF4 since most FPS games focused instead on outdoor maps. Now we are back to mostly outdoors which I have zero interest to play again.
This is probably due more to my old PC running a 7970, but I find it difficult to see in most places and everything just blends together. I can't tell foe from friend or even if it is someone, and I just don't find it fun as a result.
Maybe 6 months from now I will revisit, but for now I don't see any reason to pick it up for me.
Or using a PC built in 2013 since nothing has come out that justifies building a new one.
I think most people bought the 2080 ti for its performance, and ray tracing is just something to try out. at least I hope thats why they bought it, lol.lol @ all the people who bought into Raytracing & are getting crappy frames per second. We all told you it would happen. Never buy the first generation of anything.
