You and I are close. I'm going to switch out my 780 for a 980Ti tomorrow and expect a world of difference. In the mean time I'll probably do the same thing you did.
Yes, people with "beast" computers should be kicking ass but apparently that isn't the case across the boards.
But....but....but GtX 980 Ti, can you really justify the price that you're spending?
This might be what Nvidia wants people to do, They deliberately tweak the in game graphical settings so that people will have to upgrade "sooner" than later. They even gimped the Keplar drivers for Witcher 3, remember?
Had the Physx, Gameworks, and game been tweaked and optimized from the get-go, There would not be a need to Upgrade your video card. You would just tweak Anti-Aliasing and Texture Quality, and go from there.
As much as I'm a big fan on the Arkham Series, and i weaseled my way into playing all the Batman games with High Physx by having the right-set-up, and as much as i want to be able to play with full immersion on Arkham Knight....
I just can't justify spending $650 just for a game that should have been pc-ready since day 1.
But please, keep us posted if your problems go away when you do the upgrade.
At the moment (still unpacking) I show the following DLC in Steam..
Flashpoint Skin
New 52 Skin Pack
Season Pass
Or you could verify file integrity, get those files, and then play the game.

You mean this?I just saw a video of an AMD card running this game on Rock paper Shotgun, and wow it is really sh*t. That is absolutely nothing at all like what I am playing on my 970.
Running great over here
The tinfoil haberdashery...
Business, could you describe the settings you're using, and what types of framerate you're seeing?
2560x1600 and I get around 43-44fps AA off and it maxes at around 3600 MB see my earlier post, that was what I got for benchmarks. I still can't run the display server in afterburner only in this game. I just can't figure out why. Anyone else having issues with afterburner and displaying the OSD in this game?
I would assume it's a switch for the upcoming Linux version, due to be released in the fall. I don't think it works on Windows.Does the allowopengl setting in the ini file work?

It's really a shame that this thing came out in this state. It just shouldn't have happened.
Another Batman game on PC runs like shit? Business as usual. Hopefully the thousands upon thousands of Steam refunds will shock the shit out of Warner Brothers.
I have a feeling Steam Refunds will put a serious dent in PC development.
Think about all the shitty ports that wouldn't exist at all if they knew refunds were possible.
Volition may have given up after Saints Row 2, we would have never gotten 3 or 4 on PC.
GTA IV, maybe we never would have seen GTA 5 either.
When a company only cares enough about PC to make shitty ports and rake in easy cash, they would rather NOT MAKE PC GAMES than deal with refunds stealing their money. Dark days ahead.
You're just more optimistic than I am.Squirrel, don't troll.
Only stupid studios that don't care about their reputation would do that, and quite honestly, let them go. Everyone else will step up their game and take it seriously.
