Anyway you can put the case right next to the other case so we can see a better of the depth and height differences? If you can of course...I got mines today.
This was annoying to work with when you have a big cpu fan and a non-modular PSU.
My temps were alot better then my Antec one hundred I moved everything into
the case is SMALL
Good Day TJ08-E Owners!
Im planning to buy a new TJ08-E but i wanna know first the
exact measurements yellow line and white line (REFERENCE PIC BELOW)
yellow line (from 2nd 5.25 slot bay up to the floor of the TJ08-e)
white line ( from the 200m fan up to the motherboard tray)
i wanna try custom water cooling on the TJ08-E. and im wondering if a 240mm radiator will fit.
TIA GUYS! Hope you will help me on this!
Nice clean looking build, just wondering what fan are you using on the front, seems its not the Silverstone AirPenetrator, is it more quiet or better airflow?Couldnt wait for bulldozer so got an i5 2500k, damn my impatience
Hi Abula, its a Phobya G-Silent 18 Fan.
If specs are to be believed from manufacturers then at full speed:
Silverstone 34db - 130cfm - 1200rpm
Phobya 18db - 100cfm - 700rpm
Its definitely a lot quieter than the silverstone. Iv got mine 7 volted so i dont know exactly how loud it is but its pretty quiet and still pushing through enough air for my system.
How is the stock 180mm fan connected to that switch?Yeah its crap there aren't more 180mm fans. The Silverstone ones terrible, its just far too noisy. Ideally id want a 180mm Noiseblocker Multiframe but as they dont exist the Phobya was the best one i could find and im happy with it.
One thing to note if you change the fan is you will lose the switch on the side of the case as that's attached to the Silverstone fan. Its not a big deal for me as i find those switches pointless but thought id point that out.
How is the stock 180mm fan connected to that switch?
The stock 180mm is too loud for my taste on high. Might switch it out to that Phobya
To me the Gene Z is the best Micro ATX 1155 mobo, but refereing to the sound card, its just a realtek with software/codecs from creative, its not a true xfi, to my none audiofile ears its good enough.Does anyone have any recommendations on a 1155 mATX board? I know a few good ATX options, but next to nothing about mATX ones. I was looking at the Maximus IV Gene-Z and I was wondering how the onboard sound is compared to a actual sound card. It seems it has a few features my xtremegamer currently has. If I can get by with that I can avoid having to drop another $50 on a new pci-e sound card it would be great. Just starting to get sick of this Athlon II I am on and looking at my options.
I got a Maximus IV Gene-Z too and it rocks, I agree
Wow nice and clean. I ended up getting the MSI z68 g45 and gtx 560 ti to go with my 2500K. The maximus is great but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much.
I got my finally got my TJ08-E up and running. Could anyone tell me how to post pictures on here? I haven't really found any clean instructions on how to do so.

Very nice build G-Skull. What is the device mounted behind the 180mm fan? Seems like its blocking a lot of case airflow. Isn't there room to mount it horizontal?
With the fittings on the back of the PSU, it would probably look neater if they were hooked up the other way around and the hoses cut shorter (unless the PSU water block requires a specific flow direction)
What is the device? And do you get any coil wine from the PSU? How is it performing? Thanks.
