Do not wanna have to. I already tried deleting the entire .minecraft folder and reinstalling the game launcher...that did not work either.

I just prefer the java version because of modding and free resource packs and shaders. The most recent minecraft version also came with a change in the Java version to 16.

I will try that. And yes, I am on the Java version running in the latest install of java.

Hello everyone! I found the solution. Turns out that Battlefield 3 must be governed by some other Drive checking system. Her Steam directory and Origin directory were in different drives. Apparently this was NOT a problem for newer games like Battlefield 1 but it IS a problem for older games...

Not to my knowledge no she did not. It seems like, even when the game is installed via steam and appears under the steamapps folder, origin can not see the installation. It does not know. I will try these solutions.

Yeah, but since it was purchased ON steam, it just launches the steam client and does it through there anyway. Really annoying.

There is nothing in the monitor OSD that would suggest that I am getting less performance than is to be expected. Now I am really confused XD. Could one of the DP outs in my RTX 2080 Super just be slower than the rest? Should I try a different port?
