Yeah, I agree, but I couldn't find a CPU combo that I liked. There are a bunch with OCZ RAM, but I don't know if it's worth the savings. There is this combo with G.Skill, but it's only $10 cheaper, and when you factor in the Corsair rebate, it's actually $5 more.

Wireless for me. I just got a G7 and I love it. It's definitely lighter than my old mx700 and I'm a big fan of the swappable batteries. They don't hold a huge charge, so you may have to swap them out fairly often if you're going on a long gaming session, but it takes about 5 seconds to do so.

I current have 2x120mm Antec Tricools running on low, a 92mm Panaflo M1A at 12v, and a vf700 at 12v. I'd like to get rid of the Tricools because they're too loud at medium, and don't move enough air at low, and was going to go with 3 fans (replacing the tricools and adding an intake) from Nexus...

Mine craps out if I get the fsb above 270, regardless of multipliers for some reason. Not sure why. I had it at about 2400, but I decided to lower the voltage and set it to 2200. Not too impressive, I know, but I might try to mess with it later.

I also noticed a decrease in frames, but I didn't notice any HDR. It may just be very subtle or something, but I haven't recognized it in either HL2 or CS:S.

To all the invisible shield guys - make sure you follow their directions when applying it (http://www.theinvisibleshield.com/application.html)... the getting it wet part and all that. That stuff will stick like mad when it's not wet and can make applying it a serious pain. And make sure that...

Those things rock. I have one on my iPod and it's awesome, I prefer them over a regular case by far. Their replacement policy is nice, too; just register the thing, and if it gets messed up, they'll ship you a new one and then, after you receive it, you ship yours in, so you never have to go...

I finally upgraded my video card, so I just picked one of these up from ZZF. Seems like it does great things for temps and noise... this damn tiny fan is driving me mad. LogicSound: The vf700-cu is the better of the two, and from what I've read, you shouldn't have any problems with the 6800gt.

Maybe I'm just not sensitive to HDR, but I didn't notice it at all. Did they implement it in all the maps, or just select ones?

I noticed that HL2 took a performance hit with the latest update... my first reaction was that it was because it gave you an HDR option, but that shouldn't make a difference in any of the current levels, should it? Lost Coast is going to be the first chance to see HDR with HL2, right? Oh...
