    Ikea desk gallery

the photos are taking standing on top of my bed, so the room is actually fairly big - it's just a sink in there, there's no toilet/shower and it's NOT a prison cell!!! i'll make some pictures of the other side of the room seeing as everyone is so interested! xD

Ikea galant t-leg + half round extension piece + a monitor stand I made from an extension top + Capita 16mm legs. Effektiv cupboards + grundtal lighting. Pretty pleased with it, quality of surface is yet to be tested though, although it looks a bit fragile :(

Does such a beast exist? Large number of 3.5" drives without being a server chassis

the Antec 1200 has 12 5.25" bays, so if you use 4 * 4-in-3 bay adaptors you can get 16 drives in there! but it's a pretty large case alternatively, the Fractal Design R3 is fairly small and has 8 x internal 3.5" bays and a few 5.25"

It's my bedroom, the picture are taken standing on the bed! For some reason someone installed a sink in the room ... although it's useful because I live in a big house with a few other people so it's good to be able to brush teeth etc. without clogging up the main bathroom

Very bad load temps on e4400

Yeah, unfortunately it needs 1.4v, its not a brilliant clocker. I reduced it to 1.385v and it wasnt prime stable :( I'll check the PWM stuff out, see if he can hook the fan up to another header.

Very bad load temps on e4400

I upgraded my friends pc with an ATI 5770 graphics card, and he only had an e4400 CPU and didnt have enough money to upgrade, so I overclocked it to 3ghz. Problem is, the load temps were really bad, 60c idle, sometimes up to 90c when testing in intelburntest so I had a look at the HSF (intel...

I'd recommend the lancool (lian li) K7, aluminium so nice and light, and has 5 HDD bays so you could have 10tb with 5*2tb.

The [H]ard Forum Storage Showoff Thread - Post your 10TB+ systems

I am yes, but im not too worried about it. Any really critical data is already backed up elsewhere anyways. Plus if I lost more than 1 drive, you only lose the data that was on the drive that actually failed, as its not striped. So I think if you want a very large amount of storage at a low...

    File Server Help

The main thing I would worrry about is making sure your drives are going to be cooled well. The antec 200 would probably be a good choice, you can have 6 hard drives in the front cooled by 2x 120mm fans. Also you can hot swap a drive in the front :D
